All of my contact information is still the same, Cheddar Enterprises LLC is my company name and since I have multiple businesses, my BDA for this is one is Bird’s Mobile Auto Care. I mentioned there would be changes coming and this is just the start.

I haven’t made a post in awhile but I have to address this. I started doing mechanic work in order to help people get more affordable pricing when it comes to automotive repair. I am not fully certified yet but I am very good at what I do and I enjoy doing it. On the other side of this, my business does not run off of friendship. My labor is already half the price of what every other shop from Shreveport, monroe and down to Alexandria charge. Some dealerships are even charging $200 PER HOUR!! I love taking care of my customers but I can not short change myself because you don’t want to pay. Now with that being said, my line is open to any questions you may have and I am ready to get your vehicles winter time ready. Thank you to all of my repeat customers that are keeping me busy and thank you to any new customers I have received and will receive in the future.

Starting January 1st, there will be some changes to my labor hours and policies. I want to once again thank everyone that has given me the opportunity to prove myself. I’m not perfect, so of course I haven’t been able to fix every issue. I have been able to fix the majority of them and most of my clients have been satisfied. I would suggest getting with me before the end of the year to continue utilizing my current pricing. Again, thank you to everyone that have been using my services and I will continue to keep your vehicles running at an affordable price as well as giving you the best service I can.

Always compare new parts to the old before installation. New shock is on the left and the old is on the right. This ensures you have the right part and that you put it on the correct side of the vehicle as well.

Due to all the ice and extremely cold weather, be sure to get your batteries and alternators checked. I am performing checks for $10. Cold weather kills batteries and alternators so don’t wait until you’re stuck on the side of the road or have to be late to work because your car won’t crank.

Mechanics don’t normally like to work behind people. That means that if somebody started doing something for you and I don’t finish or did not do the job correctly, if I agree to fixing it, you WILL BE PAYING EXTRA. I have to do the job from the very beginning in order to ensure that I complete the job correctly. My time is money and working behind someone can and does make a job longer. Stop going to shady people because they are cheaper, cheaper is not always better. You get what you pay for.

Always clean the mating surface before installation. Clean any nuts and bolts you have as well or replace them if possible.

Finally got a little content up for every one. My car has been leaking antifreeze and I finally figured out the where it was coming from. My water outlet housing was leaking. If you look in the pictures, you will see that the gasket has worn out causing the antifreeze to seep out. The last picture is a side by side of the old part and new part. Always make sure your parts match up before installation. The smallest difference can cause the job the be incomplete. This is a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL 2.5L 4cylinder. This applies to the same car for year models 2008-2012.
