We’re proud to have played a part in bringing this incredible apparatus to life! 🚒
The Parnell Collision Center was honored to help paint this huge, awesome firetruck and be invited to take part in the push-in ceremony for Quint 38. Thank you to Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS (AMFEMS) for including us - it was a privilege to stand alongside your team and community.
For those who may not know, a “push-in” ceremony is a long-standing fire service tradition dating back to the horse-drawn era, when firefighters and community members would physically push equipment into the station. Today, it symbolizes teamwork, shared responsibility, and pride in service—and it was incredible to witness that spirit firsthand.
Quint 38 is a tractor-drawn aerial apparatus (“tiller truck”) designed for maneuverability, especially through tighter streets like those in Norton Commons. It carries 300 gallons of water, a full complement of hose, a pump for initial fire attack, and specialized rescue equipment.
Though “new to AMFEMS,” it was previously operated by the Jeffersontown Fire District and upgraded with a fresh paint job by the pros at the Parnell Collision Center.
You’ll be able to spot Quint 38 serving AMFEMS - which includes nearly 100 square miles across East Louisville and parts of Oldham and Shelby counties.
Congratulations to AMFEMS on putting Quint 38 into service—and thank you again for letting us be part of such a proud moment! 👏
