I just watched some guy from dyno a 512” Mopar on race gas, pump E85, and E85R…
A ton of mistakes were made in the video…..
If you see this you can reach out to me and I’ll tell you why all of those E85 dyno pulls were absolutely worthless and gave you bad information.

But a few that I will mention here are :

1 Gasoline and E85 have different spark plug requirements, failing to change the plugs was a mistake.
2 the engine was dynoed at 139°, ethanol turns to v***r at 173°…. So it was reading fat and all the jet changes you made were chasing a bad mix.
3 because the engine was cold, and the mixture was rich the timing that you settled on was WRONG….
4 the aftermarket blend that you used was a leaner blend and was also why it made more power.

Had you had the whole operation set up by someone who actually knows E85 and how it works you likely would have seen more horsepower that what you seen.

I found the video entertaining, but the information was not very good and can mislead people into thinking it is correct.

P.S. the rust on the shafts was because you failed to get the engine to proper operational temperature before you shut it down!
