Japton's On Fire Japton's On Fire is the 3rd annual Japton Volunteer Fire Department Hare Scramble. Race proceeds and gate fees are being donated to the Japton Fire Department.

This is the 3rd annual Japton Voulunteer Fire Department Hare Scramble fund raiser race. "Japton's On Fire" is round 11 in the Arkansas Hare Scramble Chambionship Series. This is Arkansas' premier cross country motorcycle racing circuit. This year celebrates our 22nd year. You don't have to ride to enjoy cross country motorcycle racing at it's finest . Bring your family, friends, lawn chairs and c

oolers. You will get an all day race experience with open pit areas, watching and cheering on 120+ riders from Arkansas and surrounding states. Watch Pee Wee riders to the bar banging, tree smacking Long Course main event. Ever dreamed or thought about racing? We have a wide variaty of classes to choose from. Bring your bike, gear and ambition. Invite your riding buddies and Line them up!

This is Travis, update on the track. Thanks to the help of a couple riders we have added over 3/4 mile of never races on single track. .70 of which I'm going to call Sandy loam creek bottom bliss. Right now the dirt is almost perfect. If the forecast holds with a little rain between now and race day. Japtons on Fire racers are in for a real treat this year! This will be the final Japtons on Fire at this location. You will not want to miss this one!

Anyone in the area that wants to ride a little, come and start knocking the leaves off at Japton’s on Fire track this weekend. With one new small section to cut in possibly 2. I will be at the track both Sat and Sunday. 10:00 am till dark ish. Food and drinks Sunday afternoon. Meet up top in the field.

Here are some important updated on Japton's On Fire track.

P*ewee:
About 70 ft of woods, same starting line as pro's, hay bale hole shot, 70 yards of field.

Kids:
0.8 miles 0.4 woods 0.4 field
Same starting line as big bikes, hay bale hole shot area.

Kids and P*ewee areas including starting area and all the track in the field are open to peewee and kids only Saturday!!!!@@@! NO BIG BIKES OR SHORT COURSE RIDERS.

Short course:
2.5 miles. Same start line as main event. Hay bale hole shot area, 2 miles of woods, 0.5 open. NO RIDING IN FIELD TRACK OR KIDS PORTION SATURDAY. YOUR practice starts and finishes far right corner of parking area

Long Course:
5.8 miles this year.
Hay bale shot area
3 hard easy splits. On of which is a jump the other 2 are hill climbs.

Hard lines will be blue Arrowed.

The jump must be jumped. DO NOT ROLL. As you will see in the picture it is about a 4 wheeler deep drop on the other side, but it is sloped up all the way on the landing side. As long as you actually jump landing is very forgiving. Easily line will take longer.

The 2 Hard hills are more challenging than the picture shows. True beginner riders might not want to try them. You most likely won't make it. If you make it clean you will save a minimum of 7 seconds or more at either one. If you make a mistake it will be very costly time wise.

YOUR PRACTICE AREA STARTS AND FINISHES far right corner of field in parking area.

Either send private message or post here if you think you can make it so I know to come up and lead people. Shut gates behind you. I'll be there from 10:00 till dark. Fields not marked yet About 6 miles of track
