We’ve spent the time making sure every detail is right—taking into account strength, fiberglass reinforcement, high freeboard challenges, fitment, clearance, and overall installation quality. Everything has been measured, marked, and finalized.

Tomorrow we move into fabrication of the 3/8” aluminum mounting plate along with a custom backing plate to properly distribute the load and ensure long-term durability.

The goal is simple: a clean, professional installation that not only looks great but is built to handle years of ocean abuse without compromise.

One thing I’ve always tried to pride myself on at Friendly Marine is going above and beyond for my customers.

Sometimes that’s a custom 3D-printed part to solve a problem that nobody makes a solution for. Sometimes it’s answering the phone at 9 PM because you’re trying to get ready for a trip. Sometimes it’s spending extra time tracking down an issue that wasn’t even part of the original job.

Not everything we do ends up on an invoice. Sometimes it’s just about doing what’s right and helping fellow boaters get back on the water.

I truly appreciate every single person who has trusted me with their electronics purchases, boat refits, wiring projects, trolling motors, lithium battery upgrades, troubleshooting, and everything in between.
