Attention female riders wanted. Dallas/Fort Worth area now has a new chapter of Chrome Angels our chapter name is Heels on Wheels this is a female RC that is all about women supporting other women. Charity functions as well as planned rides and monthly meetings to support and help our core group of women and their causes. Chrome Angels is a national organization that is A COC sanction group in Texas. So come join us for a ride and enter the circle of wonderful women that offer support and an ear when needed. Exciting news for our lady riders. I am starting a chapter of chrome angelz in the DFW area. It is still in its infancy and I am getting all the information needed to be a sanctioned chapter in our area. Right now the closest chapter is Joshua. I thought our Dallas Fort Worth ladies needed something much closer. I will keep you updated on the details it's very exciting to have a ladies group to support each other and do great charity work for our community.

Its riding season again please be careful out there. Bikes blues and burgers does still ride you can locate me by my personal email and friend me at sindee fregon. I look forward to riding with everyone this season and posting rides it we can go listen to great music. You can catch me every Saturday night at Niki's Italian bistro seeing my beloved house band Rawstin with Butch Rollins and Larry Austin. They put on a great show and there's a wonderful circle of friends that join us every Saturday night.

We have some great charity events coming up that have awesome poker runs great door prizes and really great food. The first one is May 17th the Scottish Rite Hospital benefit. Its a7 stop poker run it starts in Fort Worth at 8 20 and 35 and ends up in Cedar Hill at Johnston industries. This is the texo poker run. This is your number 9 I have ridden 7 of 9 and its the best poker run ever all year. Every stop us food and drink I give away and the end is a big car show bike show barbecue and lots of prizes. Please contact me if you'd like to ride along on the 17th there are two different routes one from Dallas one from Fort Worth but I can surely get you the information. The next one is June 7th Harleys for ho***rs it is a great charity event for Susan G Komen and if you've never seen a big tattooed biker in a pink sequin bra this is your chance. last year they raised over $25,000 in about 4 hours for a great cause, lots of fun lots of great raffle prizes and a great band. Buddy Whittington will be playing at Vino's Saturday night the 15th. Come see our boy and enjoy some fine rock n roll and great guitar playing. A great weekend to ride and have fun. A group of us are going to J &J blues on Friday night to see Blind Dog Cooley. I will have a table reserved. Harley-Davidson is voluntarily recalling some 2014 motorcycle models because of a possible safety issue.
The Milwaukee-based company says the recall of about 29,000 bikes includes a "Do Not Ride" notice to owners and a "Do Not Deliver" notice to dealers until the motorcycle is fixed.
Harley-Davidson says the hydraulic clutch system in some of the motorcycles might not disengage the clutch, making it hard to slow or stop.
Owners of affected motorcycles should arrange an inspection with an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer. The dealer will pick up, inspect and make the repairs at no cost.
The recalls affect Touring motorcycles models FLHTCU, FLHTK, FLHTP, FLHX, FLHXS, FLHTKSE and FLHRSE, plus Softail CVOs and Trikes, models FLHTCUTG, FXSBSE and FLSTNSE, built between May 3, 2013, and Oct. 14, 2013.

*****Sunday Ride *****How about a Sunday afternoon Burger. Rob and Cindra Wetli are riding to Ponder for a great burger and a ride afterwards. They are leaving from LA Fitness in (Hurst)North Richland hills off 820 and Glenview. Meet at 12 noon Kick stands up at 12:30. Ride to Ponder for a Burger then ride a bit after lunch.We are open to after lunch destinations. Everyone is welcome. This is a great group.
