We need those stands PACKED, so grab your family, grab your friends, grab your neighbors — heck, grab somebody you barely even like 😂 — and GET TO THE TRACK!

🚨 RACE UPDATE 🚨

After hearing from our drivers, talking with our staff, and seeing the overwhelming concern about this weekend’s extreme heat, we’ve made the decision to reschedule our July 25th races to our makeup date on Saturday, September 19th.

This was a mutual decision made with one goal in mind: the safety of our drivers, fans, workers, and everyone involved. With a heat index expected to reach dangerous levels, it’s simply not worth risking someone getting sick or hurt.

We know this wasn’t an easy decision, and we understand it may disappoint some. But we’d rather see everyone safe and healthy than try to push through unsafe conditions.

We’ll be back on September 19th and plan to make it a great night of racing! We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding, support, and patience. Thank you for always standing behind Dirtona Raceway.

🚨 WE NEED YOUR INPUT! 🚨

We’ve been watching the forecast closely, and with a heat index expected to reach 106°, we’re seriously considering moving this Saturday’s races to our makeup date in September.

We’ve already had several drivers call and tell us that even if they get their cars finished, they don’t plan on racing because of the extreme heat. After talking it over, Jesse and I feel like this is something we shouldn’t decide without hearing from all of you.

To be completely transparent:

* We will not have bounce houses this race. Unfortunately, the car count and attendance from our last event didn’t generate the funding needed to bring them back.
* That also means there won’t be a water bounce house for the kids to cool off in, making the heat an even bigger concern for everyone.

We know this is a last-minute conversation, and we truly hate making changes the week of a race. But at the end of the day, the safety of our drivers, crews, fans, workers, and kiddos comes first.

⏰ Everything is being pushed back ONE HOUR!

With the heat index expected to be brutal, we’d rather have everyone enjoying a great night of racing than melting in the sun. This gives our drivers, crews, workers, and YOU a little relief before the green flag drops.

🧊 Don’t forget—you can bring a cooler full of your favorite drinks! Stay hydrated, stay cool, and come ready for an awesome night at the track!

We’ll trade a little daylight for a whole lot of comfort. Thank you for understanding, and we’ll see y’all Saturday night for another action-packed night of dirt-slinging, door-banging fun! 🏁💥

Out-of-towners coming into Hugoton for the races in November, we have a hotel deal with the Best Western Plus in town to lock in these rates for the weekend.

Just simply call the hotel and ask for the "Wheat State Showcase" rate.

Out-of-town racers, we have reached our first hotel deal. If you would like to stay in Hugoton just minutes from the race track, the Best Western Plus has provided us a locked racers rate of $100/night for a one bed and $110/night for a two bed room.
