Chino's Collision Center, locally owned and operated, is seeking a Collision Body Technician. If you are experienced, hardworking, and known for your skill and attention to detail, then we would love for you to join our company.

The Body Technician is responsible for repairing all assigned vehicles. Damaged vehicles should be restored to pre- accident condition, following the written repair order. The Body Technician plays a key roll in upholding Chino's Collision Center's reputation of quality, speed and customer satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

Examine damaged vehicles and estimate repair costs

Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window-and-seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders

Fill depressions with body filler. Remove damaged fenders and panels

Bolt or weld replacement parts in position, using wrenches or welding equipment

Straighten bent automobile frames

File, grind and sand repaired surfacesRefinish repaired surface

Aim headlights, align wheels, and bleed hydraulic brake system

Repair or replace defective mechanical parts

Many people are unaware that you don't have to use the body shop that the insurance company recommended. THE CHOICE IS YOURS — by Law!

Most insurance companies have repair contracts with body shops in your area. Choosing the insurance company’s repair shop has benefits for the insurance company, which has negotiated lower labor and material rates, as well as parts discounts with those shops.

Insurance company claims representatives are given set goals, at least 40 percent of their claims go to their direct repair shops.
