CDT one-piece 4-5-6 Billet Shaft & Hub for use with 45-tooth clutch plates for 50% more surface area than a stock clutch set up. It’s stronger, adds an extra clutch plate and stepped apply plate. This upgraded part is available to purchase or we can include it in your custom CDT rebuild. Available for both the 6L80 and 6L90 units.

CDT Performance Transmission Rebuild on this 2015 Corvette Z06. It came in with delayed forward & reverse and the fluid was burnt. Upon an internal inspection of the transmission, we found burnt C1, C3 & C4 clutches. We used a 8L90 Rebuild Kit, installed a Billet Input Shaft, also used the GM updated pump stator and pump cover along with other CDT modifications. Killer engine and trans tune handled by

CDT 6L80 Level 4 Rebuild on this 2015 Chevy Truck with 800 RWHP. It came in with burnt 2-6, 3-5-R & 4-5-6 clutch packs and left with a complete rebuild with added clutch capacity, performance steels, billet reinforced output carrier, billet intermediate shaft, lots of other CDT performance modifications and a CDS 265mm multi-disc converter. On top of all that, we custom-mounted a Tru-Cool auxiliary transmission cooler to maintain optimum transmission fluid temp.

Back to the early days of a long running combination, Dodge Truck backed by a Cummins Diesel. This particular 12 valve set up only received a 727 so this customer opted for a Gear Vendors overdrive to get 4 gears.

2017 Ford Mustang came in with the revving up in 3rd gear and jerking on the 2-3 shift…left with a CDT performance built transmission including a billet intermediate shaft, Exedy Stage 2 Clutch & Steel Module and some TransGo goodies in the valve body along with a Circle D Specialties torque converter.

2019 we broke the 6L90 1/4 mile record for et as well as mph. Wen Dawson piloted her daily driven sedan to an 8.5@165 all while utilizing stock clutches and steels, built and tuned by us in house. Fast forward to March, we teamed up with Circle D Transmission to come up with a way to make this transmission complete this task time and time again reliably and handle the task of high mileage daily driving. Wen has been putting that to the test and I believe we have reached that point and are currently offering a trans to perform such a task. Now it’s on to make a 1500 hp capable 6l that will take the abuse at the drag strip and remain reliable to go rounds as well as win. This is being tested in my personal coupe and we aren’t even into the fancy hard parts yet. Honestly never though this would be possible. Truly goes to show that when you work together, you win together. At the end of the day everyone benefits from this partnership. Here’s to pushing this platform to where we never though it would be possible. 7 second 1/4 mile with a stock trans ctsv. We will continue to push to make this an attainable reality. Best of all, anything we show you that we are doing, you can do as well and we will be happy to facilitate you with the parts and tuning necessary.

Today we celebrated our 44th anniversary (officially it’s tomorrow, June 6th) at lunch today!
