Since mid February we’ve forwarded almost $3500 in round up donations to various worthy causes on behalf of our customers! Big thanks to everyone!

WOW! Heights Mobil Car Care customers have done it again! Our customers have been so receptive to the round up for charity program we started last February. Receptive and GENEROUS!
July’s round up check is in the mail !! $481.72 to Oak Forest Foster Closet benefiting foster children that leave without much and are in need of basic necessities.
August is Rescued Pets Movement Month! RPM saves hundreds of animals each week from area shelters, often from the euthanasia list and sends to other parts of the country where there is a demand for them.
With your help, RPM makes new beginnings possible for homeless pets throughout Houston and surrounding areas and has saved nearly 71,000 lives since their founding in 2013.

Customers have been VERY RECEPTIVE to the rounding up idea! We have awesome customers that donated a total of $500 for April and May to Friends For Life animal rescue. We got the SWEETEST thank you note from FFL that made us all happy to go the extra mile for them. It’s nothing compared to what their volunteers do every day.

Hi neighbors! Heather here at Heights Mobil, West 18th and Ella. I wanted to let folks know that I’ve added a button to the register system to make it possible for customers to easily donate to Animal Justice League
Animal Justice League is a 501(c) rescue organization in our area doing the hard work of rescue and advocacy for stray and abandoned animals. They also lend a hand by holding free spay/neuter and microchip events in low income areas nearby.
If you’re so inclined, you can give as little (round up your sale) or as much (woohoo!) as you’d like. Once a month I will post on our page the total donated and write a check to AJL on behalf of our generous customers.

Someone asked me what we do at the shop to celebrate the holiday so here it is.
Every year, we get together for a good meal (the guys like to do it on the lift instead of a restaurant, after working all day) and an exchange of gifts. Before the celebration, Gene and I go and pick all the gifts and then the day of they all play a game to exchange the gifts. It’s lots of laughs, some conniving😂, and rolling of dice, but in the end everyone leaves knowing how much we appreciate them.
Today we were lucky enough to have a neighbor and customer, Phillip, agree to flex his culinary talents and prepare steaks (thanks Pete’s) and potatoes with all the fixin’s (including his crazy chimichurri sauce and béarnaise sauce). It was by far our most decadent shop meal and was HARD earned because, among other things...2020. We were missing three people, also a first, but we made the best of it.
These people right here...they’re solid folks.

2ND UPDATE: Lisa’s service is Saturday morning with viewing at 10am and service at 11am. Heights Mobil will be completely closed (including fuel) from 10am-noon so that we can all attend the service. The repair shop will be closed for the day on Saturday.

UPDATE: We have a memory book at the shop for anyone that wants to jot down your comments again so Lisa’s father and sisters can see how much she was loved and appreciated. I think it’s a testament to who Lisa was that so many people have such kind things to say about her. Thank you.
It is with deep sadness that we share with our customers and neighbors that our long time employee Lisa has passed away unexpectedly after a medical emergency.
She has been with us for nine years and is the dearest of family. This is devastating to us all at Heights Mobil, and we know that she was also loved and appreciated by many of you.
Though we would normally deal with this loss privately, I don’t think I could repeat this multiple times a day.
Lisa was kind, tenacious, generous beyond measure, hard nosed when necessary and made sure this place ran like a well oiled machine. If you notice us stumbling, it’s because we will be lost without her, forgive us.
Please know she took great pleasure in getting to know all of you.
Though we miss our sweet ol’ shop dog Bentley, we were lucky to be discovered by Grateful Gracie. She loves coming to work with me and getting treats from the guys(especially Ruben)! She showed up at the shop in January just skin and bones and is now fat and happy, living the good life!

Well that went by fast! Heights Mobil wants to give a shout out to Owen and say thanks for helping out! This week will be his last week pumping gas for everyone, back to school he goes! So starting next week, we’ll do our best to pump for those that still want it, we just ask that you pull up to one of the closer pumps and give us a honk to let us know.
Also, please note that Heights Mobil Car Care (repair shop) will be closed SATURDAY AND MONDAY (September 5th and 7th) to give the guys are hard earned break. I can tell you, it’s not easy working in this heat in masks and following all the guidelines we have in place, and these guys have gone above and beyond for our customers and each other! With Labor Day on Monday, closing Saturday is a great opportunity to give them an extra day to relax.
As always, we appreciate our customers and want to thank you for your business and your kindness, it does not go unnoticed!

We know most folks aren’t moving around but we’re considered an essential business so we are still open.
We are disinfecting the pumps every 30 minutes.
We are happy to pump fuel (no extra charge) for anyone that pulls up and honks btwn the hours of 8am and 6pm, no need to get out of your car.
Our service bays are still open. We are protecting ourselves and our customers by wearing new gloves in each car we service and wiping down surfaces (door handle, steering wheel etc) before and after.
