SWIPE! Bringing .fabianbell SuperBad back to life!!! I remember watching this car growing up… If you would’ve told a younger me that Fabian would now be one of my closest friends, I would’ve said you’re crazy. But here we are. After G0dzilla was no longer repairable, Fabian and Allen spent the last couple years bringing SuperBad back to life using all of the pieces they could from G0dzilla. As they approached completion, it was finally my turn to play. Bell got a bottle of Willet and brought me down for a fun night of measuring . Over the next month and a half the Superbad Looms occupied our wiring night shift. Complete with a real good oopsie I had to fix, we got it done. Quite literally just in time for the 100k race. After thrashing for 2 days to get the install complete, make her run and a systems check at with Chris; she was track ready. We met Duy and the boys at Evadale for a private test session. A few new car blues and last minute toter issues stopped us from making the race, but we are still happy with the progress. 72 re-used connectors, 735 terminations, 6 splices, and 1,### ft of Tefzel wire concentric wrapped and covered in UK spec raychem turned into the new looms for Superbad. A , , dash, Racegrade Keypad, , and 8 individual O2’s working together with Chris Delgado’s firmware keep this monster of a car in check. As always all of our materials are supplied by with unmatched quality and service. We absolutely cannot wait to stretch the legs of this monster Fabian has built. 638” of Sonny’s hemi headed big block fed by a 132mm blower with 2 kits of dope and a lockup is gonna be hell to tame, but we’re here for it!! Stay tuned as we go shopping for some 3.5x passes on radials and 4-teens on floppy 28” slicks. #275

487 days ago Mr Richard Holt from Giddings, Texas contacted us by way of Orange Crush Racing to have a full build consultation and turn key project completed. Mr Holt made a very direct request to own “the nicest race car that anyone has ever seen.”

We began with a trip to Greg Hubbell Race Cars in San Antonio, TX to see they already had the first bars laid into place on the jig. We gave our input, and assembled a complete scope of work, cost overview, color schemes, and parts list for the build.

After assembling 15 pages of parts required, Richard spent money like it was going out of style while the boys at Hubbell worked non stop.

We made our rounds of the 2024 season for NPK S7 with Birdman, Seitsinger, and all of our other clients; occasionally flying home to inspect progress, make changes, and insure we were making the right decisions along the way.

Some things had to be re-done multiple times, and the boys at Hubbell performed every task without question. After mixing our combined years of experience over 336 days, Richard’s hotrod was finally ready for color.

151 days ago we took delivery of Richard’s ride at Star Fabrications to complete the turnkey process. We assembled a 19 page scope of work and got after it. Rob took care of all the remaining fab work, and gave his keen and clean input on the other aspects we weren’t sure of. While myself and Chuck Mcgee got to work knocking out the hundreds of hours of work ahead. With help from Varni, Jacob, Jacob M, Kelly, and a few other close friends we trusted to help.

After months of scratching the list, we came to the conclusion you see above. Everything that could be titanium, is, including 1,074 pieces of individual titanium hardware anodized by hand in multiple colors to match their placement on the build. 115 hours of well hidden motorsport wiring mixed with a couple hundred more hours of Fast-Turbo.com plumbing, stainless hard lines, assembly, fixes, and improvements led us to this result that we are so very proud of.

Upon first fire up, we noticed a small discrepancy the #7 cylinder. After diag and disassembly Sampson Racing Engines made light work of the valve seat repair; even with the fancy MBE Outlaw heads. NOW she was ready to ship!

We added the last few titanium themed punisher logo’s for Richard and completed 50+ pages of documentation and spare parts organization.

We hate to see her go, but we love to watch her leave. She’s off to the body shop and one more quick stop back at Hubbell’s for the final chassis touches.

We’re ready for a dyno sesh with Chris Delgado followed by a few private rentals to get Richard comfortable in the car before we stretch those loooooong legs.

Experience shows they don’t stay this pretty for long after we start racing them; and as always there’s a few things we don’t like. But GOOD LAWD would you just look at it?!?

Thank you Richard Holt for choosing Motorsport Integration, Greg Hubbell Race Cars, and Star Fabrications. It was a pleasure for all of us to consult, build, and assemble your dream hotrod for you. 💪🏼

Rustled up a Big Tire Win at Outlaw Armageddon 8 with Birdman Racing this weekend! Ohhh man did we need it!

We’ve taken some huge steps this season and we plan to make plenty more to come back to NPK with consistency and speed. It is NOT easy to go this fast with a turbo car on marginal surfaces, but we’ve learned a lot in the last 2 months.

Thank you to everyone that makes this possible for us!! And our track family for always keeping us going!

Orange Crush Racing Version 3.0. From start to finish in just over 4 months, what started as a just a front half turned out nothing short of spectacular.

With the build consultation complete, parts ordered, and plan set in motion we set an overall weight and bias goal to prevent excessive ballast use.

Blue Fire Motorsports kicked off the process with a complete chassis upgrade from the 4L brackets forward as well as updated goods for the rear. Including the capability to swap between Billet SBF to Hemi with variable suspension geometry; working with any crankshaft height and travel length desired. Tons of one off pieces and parts were designed and installed in house on this build to meet all of our requests without question.

Fresh from the chassis shop 8 short weeks later we began raw assembly of the car at varni’s shop. Completing color schemes, parts ordering, weight simulations, component mounting, alignments, Fast-Turbo.com plumbing and Ti64 Titanium bolt measurements(replacing 90% of the cars bolts with titanium); before bringing the car to StarFab for final component mounting, turbo system prep, fuel tank crash bar, and some changes to the control arm brackets.

With all the dirty work done, Varni and the guys sealed off the chassis and got it sprayed a fresh new black! And then came our first delay, the paint and body work; with the car almost falling out of the trailer and crushing the driver door/wing in the process!

Bluefire Motorsports and Chino's Collision Center were able to save the day with a new driver door, carbon wing and a fresh coat of Competition Orange Pearl.

Star Fabrications got busy building the Ticon Industries titanium work and new Forcedinductions.com turbo system components; working multiple overnighters with us getting this project completed on time. Thank you Rob!

Last up was the final 4 days of assembly, hardline plumbing, and wiring. All hands on deck and little to no sleep everyone came together to completed the tasks at hand.

Wiring looms were modified from the cars previous build. With additional Firewall connectors, Speedwire relay board with fueltech keypad control and CDI ignition looms added in; Total loom weight was brought up to 10.7lbs. (12lbs lighter than a standard FT loom before additional I/O is added)

With an estimated 1460 man hours in 122 days, lots of stress, tons of titanium, and a pile of money we accomplished our goal; 88lbs lighter than our original target weight with the exact weight bias percentages we were looking for without the use of any ballast weight.
