Finished in blue over a black roof, it is built on the long-wheelbase 130 chassis, delivering maximum utility, presence, and overland capability. Powered by the legendary 2.5L Td5 turbodiesel inline-five paired with a 5-speed manual and dual-range transfer case with locking center diff. The engine and driveline were reportedly rebuilt during refurbishment, supported by upgraded suspension, steering, and braking systems including a 2 inch Terrafirma lift and disc brakes all around. Rolling on 315 mounted to 16 inch Spectre style wheels, it has the stance and capability to match its reputation.

Something truly special for this Ferrari Friday! Now available for sale. For the first time ever, we’re sharing a legend Chassis 2406, a historic Ferrari 430 GT born in Maranello in 2005 and delivered on February 13, 2006. In just 13 races, this incredible machine left an unforgettable mark on motorsport, earning 5 Wins, 7 Poles, and 7 Podiums.

Chassis 2406 played a key role in Risi Competizione’s 2006 ALMS Team Championship and helped secure the 2007 ALMS Team, Driver, and Manufacturer titles for Ferrari. It was a defining era for Ferrari GT racing, and this car was right at the center of it.

The highlight of its career came at the 2007 12 Hours of Sebring, one of the most thrilling finishes in the event’s history. After qualifying on pole, Jamie Melo and the team were moved to the back of the grid for a tire change but that didn’t stop them. Alongside Mika Salo and Johnny Mowlem, the team charged through the field, and after 330 laps, Melo crossed the line just 0.202 seconds ahead of Porsche’s Jörg Bergmeister. A race for the ages. 🏁

Over the course of its competition life, Chassis 2406 was driven by a “who’s who” of GT and Formula 1 legends, including Mario Dominguez, Marc Gené, Ralph Kelleners, Jamie Melo, Johnny Mowlem, Stéphane Ortelli, Markus Palttala, and Mika Salo. It even took on the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2007, adding another prestigious chapter to its story.

Since its last race in June 2007, this piece of Ferrari history has been carefully stored with Risi Competizione, along with a wide selection of original parts. Campaigned by the world renowned Risi Competizione team, this chassis saw competition in only nine races, including entries in endurance racing’s most prestigious events the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 12 Hours of Sebring, and Petit Le Mans.
