Last year, our theme was A Better Way.
Not easier. Better. Store by store. Market by market.
This year at our annual GM Conference, we raised the bar again with our 2026 theme, Beyond Better, and the point is simple: Better is no longer the goal. Better is the baseline.
“Beyond Better” is what happens when a leadership team stops asking “How do we improve?” and starts asking:
- Beyond expectations: "What would surprise our customers in the best way?"
- Beyond limits: "Where are we playing small because it feels familiar?"
- Beyond anyone’s definition of what’s possible: "What would it look like if we went all in together?"
That mindset matters, because the work is real and the scale is real. So “Beyond Better” is not a slogan. It is a standard. It shows up in the unglamorous places:
- how we lead morning meetings;
- how we coach performance;
- how we improve consistency;
- how we deliver more confidence, more convenience, more value for customers.
If you were in the room last week, you felt it. One unstoppable team, pushing the limits as one.
