Our Ultimate Hardwire Kit was intentionally designed to bypass the factory FPCM and give the pumps full battery voltage. We still believe that is the better solution, especially with a properly designed aftermarket hanger.
However, customers using the restrictive factory hanger with larger pumps such as a DW430 or Walbro 450 can sometimes experience elevated base fuel pressure because the hanger cannot return fuel quickly enough. Some customers therefore prefer to retain the factory high, medium, and low pump speed control.
We created a proper way to do it.
The new harness plugs directly between the factory wiring and FPCM using custom manufactured mating connectors, then connects directly to the TRP Ultimate Hardwire Kit.
No cutting. No splicing. No Mickey Mouse wiring.
The entire harness is constructed from TXL wire, with 10 gauge feed and supply wiring and 16 gauge jumper wiring, giving the FPCM the best chance possible of surviving while controlling modern high current pumps.
Retaining the FPCM still isn’t our preferred strategy, but if your setup requires it, you no longer have to settle for the lower quality solution from “the other guys” just to retain pump speed control.

Introducing the Total Racing Products R-Switch 2.0, designed from the ground up to fix two of the biggest annoyances with the factory R35 GTR R-Switch panel.

-RESTORE YOUR LEDs-

Failed, dim, or flickering LEDs are extremely common in factory R-Switch panels. R-Switch 2.0 replaces the original circuit board with our completely redesigned board featuring high quality LEDs and proper onboard voltage regulation.

-GAIN SWITCH MEMORY-

Set your transmission, suspension, and VDC switches exactly how you want them. When you start your GTR again, R-Switch 2.0 automatically restores your settings from your previous drive.

No more resetting your R-Switches every single time you start the car.

And this isn’t an adapter or external module.

R-Switch 2.0 completely replaces the factory circuit board inside your original R-Switch panel. No special adapter harnesses, external boxes, or additional modules are required.

This was one of the most complicated electronics projects we have undertaken at Total Racing Products. Fitting everything we wanted onto such a small PCB was an engineering challenge, but the result is something we are extremely proud of.

Big news for your PP! A new version of the Pierburg Pal is now available at totalracingproducts.com/PierburgPal

We’re not sure where the nickname “PP” originated from, but that’s how we and most customers refer to our popular pump controller.

The new version still uses a Deutsch-style 8-pin connector, so no need to worry about rewiring for existing installations.

What changed:
• Much smaller package, approximately 2” x 2.5”
• Beefier internal electronics
• Premium ENIG (Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold) PCB surface finish
• Fully epoxy-sealed enclosure for improved protection from the elements

The mode selection switch is also removed, we’ve found that most applications only require one control strategy and never change afterwards, so we simplified the controller and eliminated the chance of accidentally switching modes during installation.
Going forward, each V2 unit before it is potted. Choose PWM Speed Control Mode or Pressure Sensor Speed Control Mode at checkout, and it arrives ready to do its job.
