Know your sander too!✊🏽Shout out to at in Waialua (North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii). Sometimes the person who stands your board is the same person that shaped or glassed(laminated) or hot coated your board, sometimes it’s a specialist only sanding, either way, it’s a real person slaving away in a sand storm hand-sanding or grinding for hours and they don’t usually get any credit or appreciation. Keep in mind, boards don’t just get resin slathered all over them and then it’s just finished, it needs to be resined again, sanded all over, and then sometimes resined again, and then sanded again, and then polished. And it’s one side at a time, then flip, then flip again and again. There’s a lot of steps and people involved, don’t even get me started on the price of boards🫢
