This is Broda. I still aint got a handle on facebooking, nor am I a big fan. But I do see it as a great tool to reach people that may not otherwise have seen much about my Hobby Shop. So, with all of that said, here is my latest "Vintage Find". I got it from Billy Lane in a horse trade deal we made. I have named it "Crankinstien". It's a 1952 FL. Panhead lower end that powered a dragbike in it's day. The numbers are good oem numbers on oem cases with matching belly numbers from 1952. I have started my process and applied for the FL. title. As far as we can tell, through measuring. It is 98inches.

Hey man, this is Broda from 14th St. Vintage cycles. I hope everyone knows that this Sunday starting at 10:00 am. (I will be there at least by 8:am.) is my Monthly Swapmeet. I have been hearing from alot of people that they are not sure just where my Shop is located. It's on 14th Street in Holly Hill, about 3 blocks South of Flomich ave. off Ridgewood ave. (U.S.1). Going South on Ridgewood ave. you make a right onto 14th St. or going North, you make a left. 14th St. is a dead end and it's almost to the end on the left. 331 14th Street is the address. I'm grilling up my infamous "Broda Dogs" For Free!!! along with "FREE ICE COLD DRINKS". Again this month I will have a few Guest Venders. They all do Webster and Rossmeyer's with me and all sell Vintage Harley Parts. And this month is my Birthday month. So, come help me celebrate it and have some funn!!! The front inside of my shop has a.c.

S.S. Bobber Swapmeet Special

This is my S.S. (swapmeet special) that I built all from swapmeet parts. Well I had the Motor, frontend and wheels. Everything else is from swapmeets or bought from shops or traded for. But all used parts.

Hey man, this is Broda. I did Webser's Swapmeet this weekend, I left early Saturday afternoon. Made some cash and had a blast. Man, I love the Swapmeets. But this one was the first time since I got my big box truck that I had to do it alone and let me tell you that truck holds alot of parts. Unloading and settin up was no real big deal, but Sunday afternoon when it was crazy hot it was a bitch. Which brings me to this, I'm needing a youngster that can work at my shop when I need help and go to the swapmeets with me. It wont pay much but you'll work hard. New, really someone young and into Vintage Bikes can learn a lot and the Swapmeets are a lot of fun. So, give me, Broda a call at (386) 847 7128. I'll meet ya at the shop and we'll take it from there.

I'm back again and this time I have a few more photo's of the 01 Sportster as I completed a little more work on it. I changed the headlite once again for I think the third time. But I think I got it rite now. It's the same size, 4-1/2 ". But it's been powder coated with antique copper. The way Bob, (the buyer) wanted. I also put on and assembled the forward foot controls and rear brake master cylinder. Last week Mondo went through the original wiring harness and labeled each and every wire. This week he will completely finish the wiring. Then all we have left is finishing the mock build, (not too much there) then it's off to paint and powder coating.

I know, I have posted this video before. but, not since having as many fb friends and followers. I think all of you will find this funny. Here's how it went. the guy that bought this bike and having me build it for him asked if I could get the bike running just so he could hear it for the first time and he wanted me to order upsweep pipes for it. So we got it so we could start and run it just so he could hear it. I then made this video and sent it to him telling him that I got a new style of pipes for his bike called "front sweeps". Check it out.

O.k. I'm back at ya! It's still Thursday, but almost late enough to say Friday. So, it's close enough to start planing your Weekend. As a lot of you know I host a monthly Swapmeet at my Shop, "14th St. Vintage Cycles". This Month will be the first time I'm doing it on Sun. partially cuz the Mongols invited me to their Party, which is this Sat. and their having a Swapmeet / Bike Show and partially cuz alot of my Friends and Customers still work an sats.. Now, with all of that said, I know it's Father's day and all Sun., but that's just the way it worked out. So, I'm still having my swapmeet, bring your Son or your Father or I'll see ya the next 3rd. Sun. (in July). I will still be grillin up my Broda Dogs, FOR FREE! and still having FREE COLD DRINKS! and some clasic rock tunes this Sun. (even if it's by myself). Got a lot more New / Used Harley Parts and you can come see the now, Three Bikes that I'm Building with the Help of my new found Friend Mondo. (alot of you know him from J&P Cycles) Today, I took him for a little ride "Scouting Parts" then, to meet Billy Lane, where we found a lot of oem shovel motor parts for the "66 S.S.Chopper". Billy gave me a Kick ass deal on the parts. More troubles for Mondo cuz, now we're gonna completly build the motor at my shop and I'm His new found Student. Can't believe he let me talk him into that mess.

Here are few more pic's of my "S.S. Chopper" build. I've done a little more and would have gotten more done but between the Swapmeets that I sell at and my procrastination, I havn't gottin to it like I should. Anyway, I found a friend that's building a Panhead that had a Flatside Shovelhead cam cover on his motor, while my Flatside Shovel had a Pan timing cover and you guessed it, we traded. In another picture you can also see that I'm going with (keeping with the 70's Chopper look) a mousetrap. And finally you can see the headlite I put on it. So, that's where I'm at now... And I will keep updating, as I go. Oh yea, I have two "S.S." bikes (neither completely finished), and if anyone is wondering what the "S.S." is. Well it's an abriveation for "Swapmeet Special". A term most people who ride today never heard or knew what it meant.

O.K. here is a little more of what 14th St. Vintage Cycles is all about. This is a 2001, 883 H.D. Sportster that I bought wrecked, frame was bent and the front end trashed.

So, I ordered a "Hardtail Craftech" frame for it and sure enough someone bought it and wanted me to build it for him. Here is the frame and with other parts I had at the shop, I put this roller together.
