This year, our End of Season HBA party will be on August 1st from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at Lions Junction in Temple.

Admission for players and their families is free, and the concession will be open. No outside food or drinks are allowed.

Board elections for the following positions will also take place during the cleaning break, so we will meet during that time for our August meeting:

That’s a wrap on the 6U Girls TTAS State Tournament! Holland hosted 23 teams from around the state over the last five days, essentially doubling our population daily.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Jessica Price and the Holland Chamber of Commerce for putting together welcome bags for the girls, updating Facebook posts, and checking in on us.

Laura Cosper, Jennifer Bales Camp, and Megan White devoted countless hours keeping books in many close games.

Vanessa Buckmaster, Barbara Critchfield, and Jaiden Cargill spent hours in the sun welcoming players/coaches and their families and passing out an unknown number of wristbands.

Lara Gommert & Family helped out tremendously in the concession stand, and we are SO thankful for you all.

Kaitlyn Arnold & Matt Byrd pitched in everywhere and did whatever we asked of them without question!

Our children grabbed gloves, picked up trash, and worked their little hearts out every night this week so that these little girls could have a week to remember.

There is absolutely no way HBA could’ve pulled this off without each and every one of you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If we have forgotten anyone, please forgive us.

Congratulations to West Westland Realty for staying undefeated ALL season, taking home 1st place, and going home STATE CHAMPIONS!

Thank you to all the coaches, players, and families that let us be a part of your journey this season! 🥎 🏆 🥎

This season has been a long one with plenty of trials and missteps along the way, but our players, coaches, parents, and sponsors have made us proud every step of the way.

HBA 100% exists because of the blood, sweat, and tears of volunteers. We don’t always have the most recent equipment or updated facilities, but what we do have are some of the very best people I’ve met pouring their time and energy into these young people.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…Holland is the BEST place to raise your babies.

As we get ready to wrap up one season this week with the 6U Girls TTA State Tournament, we’re already looking forward to the next one!

Thank you to all you volunteers like this that keep our kids wanting to come back and play year after year.

These girls battled hard all season and punched their ticket to playoffs! We are so proud of all of our teams and can’t wait to watch them this week!

🥎 6U Mini Mayhem secured a bye to State playoffs beginning June 29th in Holland.

🥎 8U Lady Lightning plays tomorrow at 8:00 in McGregor.

🥎 8U Purple Reign plays tomorrow at 6:00 in McGregor.

🥎 10U Lady Horns play tomorrow at 6:00 in Florence.

🥎 12U Lady Legends play tomorrow at 8:00 in Troy.

The state tournament, hosted by HBA from June 29 to July 3, is being sponsored by the Holland Chamber of Commerce. We are inviting incoming Holland High School Seniors who wish to earn volunteer hours for the scholarship opportunity through the Chamber to participate in making this event a success. A volunteer is required to manage the parking lot exit during the tournament. If you would like to earn hours in advance, please message HBA and we will be pleased to sign you up!
