When I started Zimmerman Marine in 1981, I had no idea we would eventually grow to six locations in four states. I just wanted to repair and build boats in the tradition I learned as an apprentice working in Maine in the late 1970’s. In the three-plus decades since, my passion for this craft has not waned, and I continue to look at situations through an apprentice’s eyes. We have grown large enoug

While forecasters are calling for a below-average season driven by El Niño conditions, NOAA is reporting a 55% probability of a below-average season, predicting 8-14 named storms and 3-6 hurricanes.
