A week of progress on the boat restoration!

Far right: The original varnished bench.
Far left: Applying the st****er.
Middle: Fully stripped and ready.

When I’m not cleaning boats this summer, I’ll be working on my first antique wooden boat restoration. I purchased this boat (a 14’ 1956 Wagemaker) a while ago but this is the summer I grind it out.

As you can see in the pictures, I have started the restoration and stripped some of the side paint off and taken the chrome fixings off.

I’m sure a lot of you probably know a lot more about wooden boat restorations and as this is my first one, I would love any advice you have, just DM me.

This week’s task is the bottom paint! Stay tuned for updates!
