So many great things have been happening, and I’m catching up on posting ☺️
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to engage with these incredible students of JET - Junior Entrepreneurs in Training. I also patronized their Market Day, where they put their entrepreneurial skills to the test by creating businesses and selling their products. It was inspiring to see their creativity, confidence, and determination in action.
Yesterday, I had the privilege of returning, not just to celebrate the completion of their course, but to serve as a panelist alongside other community leaders during their capstone presentations. Listening to each group present their business plans/budgets, share what they learned, and confidently answer questions was a reminder of just how much potential exists in the next generation.
Programs like this matter. They provide young people with more than business knowledge. They teach critical thinking, teamwork, communication, collaboration, financial literacy, problem-solving, and the confidence to believe that their ideas have value. Those are lessons that extend far beyond the classroom.
A huge thank you to the program leader, educators, and mentors who pour into these students and create opportunities that challenge them to think bigger and dream boldly. Your investment is making a lasting impact.
As a business owner, there is nothing I enjoy more than giving back, sharing my experiences, and encouraging young entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams. If I can help even one student believe that their idea is worth pursuing, then I’ve done something meaningful.
Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of this incredible journey. I can’t wait to see what these future entrepreneurs accomplish next.
