Re: SCCA Annual Vehicle Inspections
Face it, getting your annual vehicle inspection completed can be a hassle, especially when your mind is focused on the race weekend. Don’t make it so hard on yourself…there are things you can do to prepare yourself to fly through the process smoothly. · First, review the carefully prepared document the Scrutineers (Tech) have assembled at Annual-Inspection-Prep-Tips-2026.pdf
· Don’t wait till the last minute. If at all possible, get your annual vehicle inspection done early in the season. There are several additional opportunities to complete your annual inspection before your first race!
· If your annual inspection expires mid or late season, consider changing your inspection cycle by getting your inspection done in the Spring. You’ll be all set for coming race seasons.
· Explore these opportunities to complete your annual vehicle inspection:
o At the CenDiv Double Regional, Saturday April 18th and Sunday April 19th. You don’t have to be an event participant to bring out your car to complete the inspection process.
o At the Milwaukee Region Open House on Sunday, March 22nd, 11am-3pm at Schlossmann's Honda City, 3450 S 108th Street (Hwy 100), Milwaukee, WI 53227.

Mark your calendar for a return of the Loooong Race at Blackhawk Farms hosted by Chicago Region SCCA and Chicagoland Sports Car Club (CSCC). If you are considering racing the Loooong Race this October 10th and 11th and you don’t have an SCCA vehicle logbook, the above opportunities are an excellent time to check this preparation item off your to-do list. CSCC will cover the cost of issuing the vehicle logbook.
