Please be careful where you take your truck to have the frame and bed shortened. This truck came in because another local shop did the work and just left the exhaust hanging by the headers. Not only did it loosen all the header bolts we had to replace the collectors on the pipe side because it cracked them. While it was on the lift we noticed the unsafe work that was done. Wrong fishplates, welds that didn't pe*****te, incomplete welds on the so called fishplates that were not even flush on the frame, nothing holding the wires, brake line just rolled up instead of shortened, frame was cut too short in the rear to install bed bolts and so much more. Folks this kind of work is unacceptable and dangerous! Now after the customer spent countless money on this it has to come to our shop and we have to pull the bed and fuel tanks, cut out all the garbage and pretty much redo everything except for the bed itself. It actually scares me to think how many of these trucks this shop has done that are on the road next to my family and yours. Cheap and fast is not better!
