This was a great project to be a part of. Our crew built the base for this large scale brand new track and football facility for the Wapsie Valley School District. This great Iowa school system will use this facility for so many years to come.

From large scale projects like bridges and roadways to commercial, agricultural and residential concrete work. We’re here to build the infrastructure that keeps our communities moving.

Every company has a beginning. Ours looked a whole lot different than it does today.

Boulder Contracting started in 2012 with four employees, a mini excavator, and an old Ford F-350.

One project turned into another. The jobs got bigger, the equipment grew, and so did our crew. The work got harder but our standards have never changed, and they never will.

We’re proud of where we started, grateful for where we are, and excited for what’s ahead.

What does bridge deck repair actually look like? 👀

Sometimes it starts with a small hole like this.

When deteriorated concrete is identified, the damaged material is removed to expose the reinforcing steel and get back to solid concrete. From there, our crew can properly prepare the area and rebuild the section of the bridge deck.

It might not look pretty at this stage, but this is an important part of extending the life of the structure and keeping it safe for the traffic that travels over it every day.

Remove the bad. Repair it right. Build it to last.
