Auto repair costs have gone up everywhere and not everyone is able to pay for those high labor costs at repair shops.

I don't have the extreme overhead repair shops have these days, so I can save you money on repair bills.

Starter motor replacement on a 2005 Honda Civic EX. Customer was having issues with the car starting, to the point of having to hit the starter multiple times to get it started. This is a very easy repair, the only issue I had with this job was having to work with a hot engine, but I had to be quick, the customer didn't have the luxury to wait until the engine cooled down a bit.

I normally do an oil change pretty quick unless there is some kind of shield to be removed or the position of the oil filter does not favor the mechanic at all, for example, the Ford Expedition with the 3.5 EcoBoost V6. My Camry is one of those vehicles where everything is easily accessible, but it's got an extra step of draining the oil filter housing that other vehicles don't even have because they are either a spin-on metal filter or it's a plastic housing facing up, like on a Mercedes or the Chrysler Pentastar 3.6 V6. In this video I will show you a detailed oil change for the 2016 Toyota Camry with the 2.5 Inline 4 engine.

The alternator grenaded itself to death while I was driving it. I heard a loud whining sound while accelerating, a few seconds later my dash was lighting up a bunch of symbols, then the entire dash would turn off and back on. I pulled into a RaceTrac gas station quickly, turned off the vehicle, and popped the hood to check if the drive belt had ripped apart. The thing is that I sensed a burning smell coming from the front and after checking everything, found that burning smell was coming from the alternator. Since I was simply 5 miles from home, I thought I could get back in and drive home quickly, but the battery was pretty much dead. So, I called a tow service and got back home a few hours later, I will let you all know why it took so long to get back home with a tow in the installation video.

Since we all saw the coolant leak on the Explorer on the previous video, I decided to take this issue out of the way. It turns out that the water pump gasket was the cause of the leak, but after taking it out, I also realized that the water pump was making a noise, so I replaced it with the one I already had from the '02 Explorer. I also decided to replace the thermostat housing with the all-aluminum housing I had bought some time ago, which is 10 times more resistant to extreme heat and won't melt or crack like the plastic housing tends to do.

Normally when you do the oil change yourself, you check to see if there are any leaks happening under the vehicle. Well, I found some leaks, I already know of two oil leaks, but I find there are more leaks. Enjoy the video!
