🚗 If you drive in Greenwich, this is worth knowing.
According to new data from UConn, there have already been 49 car accidents involving 93 vehicles in Greenwich in just the first two months of 2026. And half of them are happening in the same spot — the area around I-95 Exit 5, Route 15, and Route 1.
That's not a coincidence. I-95 through Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, Norwalk, and Westport was named the busiest interstate corridor in the United States in 2024. Merging, lane changes, and high-speed traffic at that exit are genuinely challenging even for experienced drivers.
For new drivers still building their skills? It's one of the most demanding stretches of road in the country.
