Taking pride in your work is important—but so is knowing where the job you were paid for ends. 👏

As detailers, it can be hard to walk away from something we know could look even better. But extra labor, products, and time are still valuable. Sometimes the best thing you can do is ask the customer what they want instead of assuming. At the end of the day, we’re not just detailers—we’re business owners. 💯

Have you ever done extra work for free because you wanted the final result to look better? 😂👇

We charged $400 for an interior detail that normally costs much less — but this wasn’t a normal booking.

The customer needed it done ASAP, at 6 AM, with a strict deadline. We gave him the option to book normally at regular pricing, but he chose the convenience and urgency instead.

And the biggest lesson? 💡

People aren’t always paying for the service itself. Sometimes they’re paying for your availability, convenience, professionalism, and ability to solve their problem when THEY need it.

Don’t be afraid to charge for the value of your time. 💰🚗

This was one of the worst disaster details we’ve taken on 😳 This vehicle had been sitting neglected for nearly 2 years while the owner was overseas, and when they returned, it was covered in mold, corrosion, rust, and built-up grime.

After about 5 hours of hard work, we were able to bring this vehicle back to life as much as possible! 🙌🏽✨

We always make sure to set realistic expectations with our customers, especially when dealing with severe mold and corrosion. Some areas were too deeply affected to completely restore, but our client was extremely happy with the results!

Would you have expected this transformation? 👀🚗

Foggy to flawless ✨ Full headlight restoration + her honest reaction at the end 👀
Barbara had her car repainted, but cloudy headlights were ruining the finished look. After restoring them, she noticed the difference immediately — not just visually, but she also said she can see so much better driving at night!

Ted’s Honest Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We handed out flyers in our community, and one of those flyers turned into a headlight restoration customer.

Silence doesn't always mean "no."

Some of our best clients didn't book the first time we reached out. They booked because we stayed consistent, followed up professionally, and never assumed they weren't interested.

Consistency and professionalism build trust over time.

⚠️ Tree Sap Beware ⚠️

At first glance, tree sap can look just like water spots—but don’t be fooled.

While water spots sit on the surface, tree sap can bond to your paint and, if left too long, may cause staining or etching that becomes much harder to remove.

If you notice small sticky spots or marks that won’t wash away, it may be tree sap rather than water spots.

Regular washing and proper paint protection can help prevent long-term damage and keep your vehicle looking its best. 🚗✨

Most generator problems start with neglected maintenance. Here’s how we change the oil on a Predator 3500.
