How dirty is it under these Tesla covers?

Brake dust gets hot, really hot. If your wheels are left untouched for a year, it’s likely that staining and etching has started happening.

If you don’t clean your wheels they’ll still work, but if you care about how they look cleaning them every 800 miles is a good practice to keep them looking fresh and preventing expensive restoration work on them.

For most 2025-2026 cars a two step polish would be overkill…

Newer cars like these usually don’t come in with heavy swirls the paint’s still fresh, so there’s not much to “correct.” Going in with an aggressive cutting pad on paint that doesn’t need it just adds risk (haze, marring on soft clear) for zero extra benefit.

Instead, we ran a jeweling pass same amount of work, but instead of cutting into the clear, it’s refining it. The result: more depth, with the least amount of clear removed.

Work smarter, not harder on the clear. That’s the standard.

Trims have the least protection compared to paint, which is formulated with heavy UV inhibitors which is why oxidation sets in on plastic so much faster. Protecting your trims early is key.
