Good early morning ev1. Just thought I would let ev1 know that Brandon's girlfriend is in Hastings Hospital. Guess her blood pressure was high and had an appt late yesterday after noon. Brandon left work right at 5 o'clock to head to Hastings. She was due around the 3rd or 4th of July but guess they induced labor so hopefully when I get to work this morning I will know how much his baby girl weighs and hopefully have photos and will know her name. Brandon won't be at work today so for those of you that have your cars in the shop, it may be an extra day before they are done. Congratulations Brandon and Sarah and get some sleep why you can. LOL! ----Karen

The guys finally got "Fred" our minion put up on the pole today. He is pretty hard to see as he is a lot smaller than our other pole cars. NTV is here today doing a story on the pole cars and possibly the motorcycles. I told the guys they should have built up a larger platform so he sits higher.
Yesterday I had a couple stop in and I spent approximately an hour or so with them telling then about my dad, his inspiration on the pole cars and showing them the motorcycle shop and telling them about his motorcycle racing. They are such wonderful people. Their names are Scotte and Toni Burns and they are Love Storytellers and are from Deadwood, SD. I looked up there website, it is www.LoveInAmerica.us. They told me they go around all over the country on their motorcycles and exploring the Heart of America and tell their love stories and guess soon they are going to have a series on tv. They are such nice and wonderful people and I totally enjoyed the time I spent with them. If I can I am going to try to post a picture of them from their website and hope everyone will check their website out. I found it to be very inspiring. Have a good day all and if I can will add more photos later---Chow! Karen

Good afternoon ev1. Been so busy lately haven't really had time to update. Still real busy. We have added another van to our family of courtesy vans. We had our 2010 Chrysler mini-van I named Vanna, and now we had added our 2011 Chrysler mini-van I named Callie. We also have been loaning out our shop van. I named him Blue. Although he looks black, he really is a real deep metallic blue. Our 2010, named Vanna is out right now, and hopefully she will be back tomorrow afternoon. She looks pretty much like Callie, but a year older. Also we have another new guard dog, LOL! Meet Rico. Actually, he is Robo's new dog. He brings him to work and is in my dad's shop in a kennel until he gets a little bigger and learns not to run out in the street and so on. Bailey loves him and wants to play and Jake could care less about him. Gotta go ev1, have to write an estimate. Have a good rest of your day and rest of your week--Karen

Good morning ev1. Hope you had a good weekend. Keith cleared "FRED" the minion this weekend so now it is ready to be put up on the pole. He is all finished up, now just trying to figure out when and where to have him put up on the pole. I will keep everyone informed when we know he is going up on the pole. Here are a few shots of the finished minion and Keith working on him this weekend. Have a good week.----Karen😊

Hi Everyone, the minion is just about done and ready to be put up on the pole, the last of the pole cars. My dad had started on the minion before he passed away. Keith, our painter finished up the concrete work recently, put the primer on the minion and painted the yellow and the black. Airbrush Mike came in yesterday and done the eyes, goggles, mouth and the overalls. The minion still needs the final coat of clear and we are going to put "fred" on the pocket of the minion and hopefully will go up yet this fall. Here are some photos. Hope you like them, Karen

Good morning ev1. Been a busy month. Today I am sharing pictures of Joel Smith's 1969 Plymouth GTX. Just a few little touch-ups. He has won numerous trophies at car shows. This car is sweet.
Not sure when voting begins for the "Best of" contest and for sure if you have to vote on line or if there are places set up for ballots but don't forget to vote for us for best body shop and best towing service.
Everyone have a blessed day! Karen

Well, today is Hump Day, LOL! I was going to try to post these pictures yesterday but my computer kept screwing up all day. Don't suppose it was the person operating the computer, do you? All I did about three weeks ago was to change the name of a folder on top of my desktop. The folder is one that I tell the computer to load photos of vehicles into, well me and my little mind didn't give it a second thought, I changed the name and then all hell broke loose. I couldn't find my photos after I took them, so changed the name back to the original name. Since then I have had several programs quit working. I can't do a system restore as it will mess up my Mitchell and Ultramate programs and those two are the most important programs because I use those two to write estimates. Now I can take pics, they load to the right folder, can email them but now I can't open the picture or do a print preview of them, bummer, cause sometimes I like to open up a picture to make sure I have all the damage that I need to show. Oh well, so I am a computer genius, NOT! Here are the photos I wanted to show you. Airbrush Mike has a place in the Conestoga Mall and he can airbrush just about anything. I wish I had even a small pinch of his talent. I would love to learn how to airbrush. His work is absolutely beautiful and reasonable. All we do is the clear coat on his creations to make the items show up shiny. If you have a need for any airbrush work, give him a call. The picture of the humming bird, the farm scene with the cow and windmill and the skull are all on a mailbox. The other picture is designs on a helmet and then the last photo is a picture of Mike holding he lid to his box. Can you believe the details??? WOW, WOW and WOW is about all I can say. His phone number is (308) 750-4347 and he is really a great guy with so much talent. Have a good day everyone. Oh by the way, Keith finally finished the concrete work on the minion, I think Mike is going to help him paint his eyes. He had to let the concrete set up for so long before the painting so should hopefully see the minion up pretty soon. Have a good day ev1---Karen

Hello everyone, we picked up a vehicle this morning at Hwy 2 at Webb Road. I am not certain what had happened but ended up taking our big flatbed and our smaller wrecker as a train hit a pickup that had stalled on the tracks. Thank goodness no one was hurt. The gentleman happened to jump out of the truck right before it was struck by the train. The train drug the pickup down the tracks and we had to use our smaller wrecker to lift up the truck that was stuck to the railroad tracks. I don't know the whole story, been busy, just bits and pieces and in a little bit if I have time I want to go out and snap photos. The pickup is in about 3 or four sections.
