What’s Matt working on underneath the Bronco?

We’re bringing 3D scanning into the Jay Wire Solutions workflow!

Using a Creality 3D scanner, we’re capturing the power step setup on this Ford Bronco and bringing the geometry into the digital world.

Being able to work with a digital model of an actual component opens up some exciting possibilities for custom design, fabrication, and product development.

We’re just getting started with this technology, but we can already see plenty of opportunities to put it to work!

Sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference.

We’re working through the plumbing on the air-to-water intercooler system in this Chevelle. We needed to transition from AN fittings to hose barbs and wanted to match the geometry of the existing pump connections.

We started with Fragola Performance Systems fittings and had them custom-machined by our neighbor Abraham Machining to get exactly what we wanted.

Paired with a modified Motion Raceworks reservoir, we’re getting everything positioned and mocked up before final hose crimping.

The system also features a pump from VMP Performance, bringing all the fluid flow needed to keep charge temps in control!

A little extra effort to get the fit, routing, and details right before making everything permanent.

Making progress on the ’65 Lincoln!

The old fuel, power steering and transmission cooler plumbing is out, and we’re starting to put everything back together the right way.

The new Holley EFI system is going in, along with an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, Derale transmission cooler, and Lowdoller Motorsports pressure sensors to keep an eye on everything.

Still plenty of work ahead, but the engine bay is starting to come together!
