We are a F1 in Schools team, representing Granbury High School. We are currently designing a intricately modeled F1 car, to compete with other schools on March 23, 2013. We are all very excited for this unique opportunity, and are hoping to represent GHS, and all of our sponsors to the best of our abilities. The silent auction for the 1 night, dinner for two and breakfast at Rough Creek Lodge is going to remain open until September 1 at 5:00pm.

The bidding for this luxurious get away starts at $500. You can bid either publicly by commenting or privately by sending us a message. All proceeds of this auction go directly towards funding our trip to Abu Dhabi.

Go like Affinity F1 :)

Affinity F1 won second place at the F1 in Schools national competition on Saturday at the Michigan International Speedway outside Detroit. The GHS team - which advances to the world finals in October to be held in Abu Dhabi - is composed of Chloe Scroggins, project manager; Ian McMasters, manufacturing engineer; Christina Hager, resource manager; Tyler Johnson, graphic designer; and Hayden Coppenbarger and Tommy Wallace, design engineers. Other students assisting the team are Cade Timmons and Daniel Valdez. The sponsor is Todd Gibson.

The Granbury High School F1 in Schools team is presenting at the Society of Automotive Engineers student night at the University of Texas at Arlington. The GHS team is the only high school group invited to participate.
