Shout out to Steve and his bitchin 71 Chevelle. This thing has a very healthy 11:1 427 Big Block Chevy backed by an old school 4 speed. Steve wanted his exhaust to be loud and aggressive and to exit before the rear tires. We told him, how about we use a pair of Porter Mufflers new freedom flow shorties…. He said absolutely, let’s try em.
Here we built a clean dual exhaust system in 3” tubing, 3” in/out- 7” long freedom flow Porter mufflers, and dumped it out the side just before the rear tires. We opted to cut the tailpipes back a bit to try and keep it as clean looking as possible. Now if/when he does a monster burn out them pipes will blow smoke like Willie Nelson. This thing sounds AMAZING! It’s aggressive, it’s loud, but it’s still got that Porter deep sound that makes it unique to all!
Thanks for the opportunity Steve, enjoy!

Obviously video doesn’t do this justice. BUT, trust me, in person, this thing is the best sounding coyote we’ve heard! Porter Mufflers for the win! Available exclusively at The Cochran Garage Exhaust Shop LLC

Shout out to Fred Fox and his bitchin 71’ Torino! Fred’s car “had” a new custom built stainless exhaust system on it that was very poorly executed backed by a pair of Magnaflow mufflers. What you can’t see is that this car has a new crate 5 ltr Coyote under the hood! If ya know how coyote motors sound when they’re un-corked than you know how terrible they sound. Here’s where we came in.
We built a new full 2 1/2” exhaust system, installed Remflex gaskets, an X-pipe, our fav - 20” Porter Mufflers, V-bands, 16” resonators in the tail pipes, and stainless tips to finish it off. I’ll post a video of it next. This car sounded absolutely amazing! No more radical obnoxious cold start crackle, no more crackle pop under load, no more terrible de-cell noise. This thing sounds clean, has a deep tone, and roars when it’s taking off. This is my personal favorite sounding Coyote we’ve done hands down! I’m so impressed with quality of sound we get from Porter Mufflers. Huge thank you to Fred for letting us experiment with and un-tested combo to try and tame down the infamous coyote. We NAILED IT! Thanks for the opportunity, ENJOY!!

Shout out to our buddy Randy for bringing in another bitchin big Ford truck. This one sounds pretty rowdy with the built 468 under the hood. Here we built an almost all 3” exhaust system, off the collectors we had to build the pipes outta 2 1/2” to clear several obstacles. Once we got pass the transfer case we V-banded up to 3” using some cool v-band adapter rings going from 2 1/2” to 3”. The muffler choice is Randy’s classic style, a Flowmaster 40 dual in/dual out. Doing something a little different we added a pair of resonators right off the back of the muffler to try and calm down some of the snap this big system is gonna do. Another pair of V-bands were added to rear of the resonators to make the whole system completely removable. To finish we went up and over the axle with an angled side exit finished off with a pair of stainless 3 1/2” pencil tips. This thing sounds awesome and matches the look perfectly! It’s gonna look killer lined up with his other trucks. Watch for this thing driving around this summer, thanks again for the opportunity, enjoy!

Shout out to my buddy Oshman for referring his buddy Morgan to bring out his sweet little CJ Jeep. Here we did a clean new dual exhaust system that’s fully removable via a pair of stainless V-bands. The existing exhaust system was poorly built, leaked, crookedly mounted , and sounded terrible. To fix all that we built a fresh 2 1/2” system that clears everything perfectly and it’s a breeze to remove. Sound wise we used a pair of our favorite 14” Porter Mufflers to give this built 6.0 LS under the hood a very unique sound, a unique sound that nobody replicates around here! We opted to go straight out the back just under the double tube bumper to make the cleanest looking exit possible. This thing absolutely roars when you stomp on it! Thanks for the opportunity guys, we appreciate the support! Enjoy

Shout out to Mr. Ludden and his sweet 69’ K5. This guy has a clean 383 stroker under the hood that the customer wanted to sound healthy but not too crazy. So we built a full 2 1/2” system, with an H-pipe, and made it fully removable with a pair or V-bands. Remflex gaskets, as usual, were installed at the collectors and 02 bungs were welded in both banks for any future tuning needs. Sound wise we used our favorite Porter Mufflers backed with a pair of stainless aero resonators. Mufflers are Porter polished stainless, 14” long, 2 1/2” in/out. The reason for the resonators were to tame down the performance deep tone of the Porters to make this rig just a bit calmer for cruising topless. A pair of double wall stainless tips were added to finish off the look under the rear quarters just like the customer wanted. This thing sounds awesome, it’s clean, rumbles, and roars when you step on the loud pedal. Thanks again for bringing us another one of your classic cars to work on! Enjoy
