Ever since I first started driving VW Beetles, the lack of a truly effective cup holder left driving around with a drink difficult. The plug and chug ashtray unit was nice but always left me wanting something better. So we came up with a door mounted unit! Yes, you need to be cautious entering and exiting with the small impact to foot room but once you’re in, the drink holder is in a very convenient, yet out of the way position!
