Metro NY PCA Metro New York Region - Porsche Club of America. Offers driving opportunities, technical assistance and camaraderie.

Our club was originally founded in 1952 as The New York Porsche Club. This was a year before Max Hoffman began importing 356's into the USA and three years before PCA was founded! In 1953 we began publishing The Porsche Post, our club newsletter. It has been published continuously ever since. The Porsche Post is likely the oldest Porsche specific publication in the Nation. ke Rally was run in 1957. Rallymaster Doug Grewer created a 150-mile event open to both members and non-members. We joined The Porsche Club of America in 1958 and officially became the Metro New York Region of PCA. Today Metro offers its member many activities to allow them to enjoy their favorite marque more fully. This includes: Autocross, Club Racing, Concours, Driver Education, Rally, Social Gatherings, Technical Meetings, Treks, and a whole lot more.

Here’s Ted Ohland the guy we are honoring this weekend at the start of one of the early Snowflake rallys. High school English teacher, one of the original founding members of Metro, past President, Post editor, Metro Historian and of course Rally Master. Now that is dedication! Be part of Metro’s 70 year history this weekend as we honor his legacy…there’s still some time to register! And don’t forget a commemorative grille badge !

Know that your support, Metro members, is making the difference in the life of a homeless veteran in our region….today…as they navigate these life threatening temperatures.
