Berge Volkswagen is hiring an experienced Volkswagen Technician to join our service team.
We are looking for a dependable, motivated technician who takes pride in accurate diagnostics, quality workmanship, and fixing vehicles correctly the first time. Volkswagen or Audi experience is strongly preferred, but we will consider experienced technicians who are interested in advancing their factory training.
Responsibilities
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Volkswagen vehicles according to factory standards
• Perform electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and HVAC repairs
• Complete maintenance services, recalls, and warranty repairs
• Perform thorough multipoint inspections and clearly document recommended repairs
• Provide detailed cause-and-correction notes for every repair
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and management
• Maintain strong productivity while delivering high-quality work
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications
• Previous automotive technician experience required
• Volkswagen or Audi experience strongly preferred
• Volkswagen factory certifications are a plus
• Strong diagnostic and electrical skills
• Must have your own tools
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction
