The official standings are out and it’s Official, I am the 2025 INEX Bandolero Bandit Colorado State Champion!

I was also able to make it into the Top 10 in the Nation and finished in 9th place!

It was an amazing year with lots of highs and lows and I can’t thank everyone enough for all the help, support, and inspiration!

We’re moving into the Outlaw Division next season, and it’s going to be super competitive and a whole lot of fun!

It’s time for my Open Wheel Showdown update post! It was a long and fun week of racing, but it ended with a hard hit into the wall. 😞

We unloaded the car on Thursday and hit the track for some practice laps. The car was really fast right off the trailer. I made a bunch of laps and we put the car away for the night in the 7th quickest spot.

Friday was a different story! I took the car out in the first practice and I knew right away we were off on the balance of the car. In the middle of Turn 3 & 4 the car just snapped out from under me and I spun up towards the wall. I was able to avoid hitting the wall and brought it back in to the pits. We worked on it and went back out for practice #2 a little better, but still too loose and spun again in Turn 1 & 2. That was all for the day and we decided to sleep on it and come back for the Main Event with some new ideas.

Saturday is the big show day! We got one practice session, which went much better! Car was more balanced and we had no spins. Qualifying was a little eventful as they added some extra laps to account for a car who was running loose and had spun out. We Qualified P12 out of 25 cars, so right in the middle of the pack.

For the Main Event, we were racing under the lights at night! With a large field of cars everyone was racing in close quarters. Right after the Green Flag there was a caution, which had us do a restart. On this next restart, a car spun in Turn 4 and as the field and I approached the yellow came out. I made a move to the high side, which unfortunately got me up in the rubber marbles and I spun and hit the wall hard with the front and rear of the car.
This would end our race night, on Lap 1 of the event. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.

We will fix the car, and get back out there and find that speed we know we have had!

Day 1 and 2 are in the books for the Open Wheel Showdown at LVMS Bullring and Dirt Track! Day 1 was great and we had a good car right off the trailer!

Day 2, ooooff! The track kicked my butt! Car got wicked loose middle and exit of the turns. I had 2 big spin outs and narrowly missed hitting the wall! My Insta360 camera caught all the action and I’ll be posting some videos from in car shortly.

My crew is gonna get down to work on the car and get it back under control for the big day tomorrow!

I have faith we can get it back on track!

Load in day for the Open Wheel Showdown at LVMS Bullring and Dirt Track is complete! We were able to do a cool photo shoot at the start/finish line today. Practice starts tomorrow and we can get this car dialed in!

We are on our way to the Open Wheel Showdown!!

LVMS Bullring and Dirt Track is one of my favorite tracks to race at! It’s super fast, and the competition is fierce!

Hiway 92 Raceway Park is such an amazing racetrack for me. The speeds are fast, and the competition fierce! I was able to finish the last race of the season here with a Main Event win!
