Round 2 TMGP

North Texas Karters in Denton, it rained a lot early in the day, and was windy and cold for the rest of Saturday! The track never really came in so it was managing slides and wheel spin for the sprint races, even on rain tires! Man was it fun to swap paint with my main man Tony 🔥

Sunday was a lot better weather wise, temps were low but the wind let up. All of the patch work the track put in was slick, making it hard to find a pace. The sun was out though so with the 4hr endurance race cooking with 17 teams the grip improved steadily through the day.

We started 5th row on the grid and worked our way up 1st overall and 1st for the Grom class. I slid and spun my through the first 1.5hrs, then went out for 1.5hr stint and cooked some hot laps with a grippy track, finally! went out and held position with good consistent pace and Tony went back out to take the checkered flag!

Great competition, great friends and family, half the size, twice the fun! Next round is May 30-31st let’s gooo!!🤘
