Wyatt's Auto Services will be closed tomorrow due to a family member passing. We are celebrating this persons life tomorrow and we will not be available for any jobs, calls or texts.

We will return to normal business Sunday.

We don't stop just because the job gets tough! We stayed until 9:30 last night at this customer's place to make sure that we did everything we could to get this engine and transmission out of the grain truck. It was a 13 hour day with lots of twists and turns. Now we are on the hunt for an engine that will fit the space we have. Hopefully we will be installing an engine for this customer soon so they can finish out the season with a bang!

After further investigation we found the engine the customer wanted to put in as a replacement won't fit in the space to do the diesel swap. Sometimes these big jobs come with hiccups and require a new plan. We are pulling the original engine to get measurements to ensure the next engine bought will fit within the measurements needed to do an engine swap. For now the plan is to keep the truck a gas powered engine vs a whole diesel system swap.

Next step was accessibility. When working on a big rig like this bad boy, you have to remove the hood. Mariah got to run the skid steer for her first time ever. (Don't worry she follows directions very well.) Once the hood was removed it gave us full accessibility to start draining fluids and getting into the nitty gritty of the tear down.

The start to a big project like this is a plan of action. We had to do some configuration and research to make sure the engine and transmission will match for the job the truck is being built for.

Stay tuned to our page over the next couple of days! Ever seen a gas to diesel conversion on a Chevy C65? Well we are spending a couple days doing just that. We will be taking videos, pictures and maybe even an information video showing you the process of this big job and how we tackle such a big task!

We will be closed until Sunday the 2nd. We had a family member pass away and we are taking this time to process and mourn the loss of this family member.

We will be open again Monday the 3rd.
