Congratulations to Gunner Hartman on his 1st feature win in kids mod!! We didn’t build the engine but I have watched him run we after week and his car just didn’t run right, so we aided in making sure the tune was correct and car ran as it should. You drove a great race, race looked good on track and it ran much better. Happy to help in getting you to your first victory!!

What a weekend, feature win at Benton Speedway last night!! Keith was out for his daughter’s wedding so we had Billy James drive the car last night and he didn’t disappoint. Won the heat and started on the pole of the feature, had a little on track incident with the 2nd place car that sent him into the in field knocking the LR tire off the car completely, trashing the LR wheel and breaking the RF shock off the car. Billy brought the car in and we changed the LR wheel and back out he went from the back, passing cars lap after lap and with 2 to go passed for the lead and never looked back. Wow what a race!! It was also great to share a win with Billy James, his family and the one and only Danny Robinson, one of the best engine builders around. Great drive Billy, we will take what we learned this weekend and make the car even better, thanks again for driving it and putting Baldwin Racing Engines back in victory lane!!

Made a house call tonight to work out some valve train adjustments on this sweet hot rod. It’s all fixed up ready to make some hp down the track.

Chop, cut rebuild time. Our assembly room and sub assembly are getting ready to undergo a much needed remodel. Built as the original office back in 2010 it was transformed into the assembly room and sub assembly a few years later after a new office was built. We are hoping for a fairly quick turn around time on this project but it is a big one, it should turn out really good, much more organized and more functional. That’s the goal. Keep a look out on our page as this project happens.

Some heat race action from Friday night at Benton Speedway. The old #4 Brugger ride was getting down the straight aways fairly well for once. Keith just keeps getting a little more confident every week, a little faster, feature didn’t go so well but that’s all right. It’s was also cool watching both Webb cars running better as well, both their cars are going around the track better each week as well. We have always handled really well down the straight aways, lol. Plenty of speed and power to get the job done, just have to get it to the ground and through the corners, that’s the much harder thing to do.
