At Kart Custom Designs (KCD), we build products engineered for racers, by racers. What began as a single fuel line bracket design in a small Northern Ohio garage has grown into a fast-rising motorsports brand trusted across karting, dirt racing, and grassroots racing nationwide. Our mission is simple: create smart, durable, race-ready components that make your build stronger, your maintenance faster, and your race day easier.

Our first-ever product—and still one of our most popular. These brackets were born out of necessity and refined through countless laps. Clean, secure fuel routing can make or break a race day, and our brackets continue to be a staple in the pits for drivers who expect reliability.

🛠️ Engineered Support Angles

Lightweight 1" legs with holes for 1/4" bolts or 3/16" rivets. Available in 3", 4", and 6" lengths, perfect for panel reinforcement, repair work, or creating a rigid mounting footprint.

Reinforced 6" × 1.5" plates featuring 10 rivet holes and a rigid center spine. Designed for strengthening fiberglass and composite bodies or making fast, clean repairs.

Something new is breathing at KCD…
We’ve been working on a compact engine overflow/breather tank built specifically for small racing engines.
We didn’t want to take a traditional catch can and just make it smaller. This design uses an internal baffling system to help separate oil from the crankcase v***r while keeping the overall package compact.
The design isn’t finished yet—and that’s the point.
We’re currently testing, making adjustments and putting it through its paces before we put the KCD name on it and offer it for sale.
If testing goes the way we expect, look for it in the next couple weeks.

🏁 KCD BODY REPAIR & REINFORCEMENT — WHAT DO YOU NEED?

We’re just getting started.

KCD is working on a growing line of 3D-printed supports, reinforcement pieces, and repair solutions for fiberglass and carbon fiber kart bodies.

Instead of throwing away a body because of a crack, split, worn mounting point, or weak area, we want to develop parts that can reinforce it, repair it, and keep it racing.

And this is where we want YOUR input. 👇

What part of your kart body always breaks, cracks, wears out, or needs reinforced?

Post a picture in the comments or tell us where the problem is. If enough racers are fighting the same issue, there's a good chance KCD can design a solution for it.

🆕 NEW FROM KCD — NOSE SAVER REINFORCEMENT

Trying to make that fiberglass nose survive just a few more races… or at least make it to next season? We know the feeling. 😂

The new KCD Nose Saver Reinforcement is a 3D-printed internal reinforcement designed to help repair and strengthen cracked or split fiberglass noses.

Instead of just patching the crack and hoping it holds, the Nose Saver gives you a solid structure behind the damaged area. Fiberglass it into place behind the split to tie the area together and add strength where the nose needs it most.

• Reinforces cracked and split fiberglass
• Fiberglass directly into place
• Adds structure behind the damaged area

We’ve noticed some familiar-looking ideas popping up out there. And you know what? We’ll take it as a compliment.

At KCD, we don’t wait to see what everyone else is making. We design. We test. We race. We improve. We create products because we see a problem at the track and think there has to be a better way.
