Love these days! Love these kind of family trips! Thanks Mario and the boys for coming to see us again. I think we wore out a couple of those kids this morning. Each one of the kids was able to tag their biggest redfish ever! Thanks Rob for your help again today. See you guys again in August.

Couldn’t ask for a nicer day for these guys. We had fish on all day! Some were undersized or wrong species, but still ended up with enough for dinner. Thanks as always Capt. Rob for helping out on the deck! Thanks guys for choosing Surfside Beach Charters. Look forward to fishing with you again.

Had someone hook a pelican at Bridge Bait today. Jumped into action. We were able to remove the hook and get her untangled. Thanks for the help Jody, I’m sure she will be good to go.

Had to cut it short today. Wind was blowing and seas were building. Took it slow and steady to the redfish hole and it payed off. They were thick! You reel one in and there would be two more following it up to the boat. Thanks guys for hanging in as long as you did. Hope to see you again on a little better day.

Wasn’t sure if the weather was going to hold out for us this morning but it turned out just fine. Had a two boat deal today from The Woodlands Methodist Church. Ended up with a pile of fish! Thanks for going fishing with us again this year and hope to see you next year or sooner. Thanks Captain Rob and special thanks to Captain Cole for handling the second boat. All I want to know is when is the church fish fry?

Amazing what a difference 24 hours can make on the Texas coast. Blown off the water yesterday but couldn’t have been a better day to be on the Gulf of America today. We caught a few fish also. Had some locals from Angleton Tx. Let me know when you run out of fish and how that fried Black Tip turns out tonight. Hope to see you guys again, it was a fun day. Thanks to my son in law Capt Andy for going with us today you made my day a lot easier.

Captain Kevin and I are so excited to anticipate our 7th Grandchild! Just found out yesterday it’s a boy! So very happy and congratulations to our daughter Captain Amy and to our son in law Captain Homie! Welcome to the family little one!

Had Reed and his lovely wife on the boat today from East Texas. Reed had a bucket list of items to check off. One was to catch a Cobia (Ling) and he got a 43 pounder today…not a bad one to get. The 2nd item on his list was to catch a fish bigger than him. Hooked up and got to the boat a couple of 6 foot plus Spinner Sharks. Number two on bucket list checked off! I know he will be feeling that. Also got Jack Fish, some nice Redfish and Gaff Tops to boot! Hope to see you guys again this summer. Thanks for choosing Surfside Beach Charters this time.

Had a boat load of active duty service members today from fort Polk in Louisiana. I think I gave them a little work out with the reds and sharks. I know I got my work out at the cleaning table. Thanks for your service and for coming to visit Surfside Beach charters. We offer military discounts.

Weather was a little sketchy this morning but wind finally calmed down a bit. Turned out to be a great day! We had a few personal best and lost a couple of sharks. See you again this summer. Thanks Homie for the help as always.

Father and son deal today. Larry and his son Conner are down from Kansas City, Mo. on Spring Break. After reeling in a few, Conner said this isn’t like crappie fishing. No it’s not! Thanks guys for the fun day and thanks to Capt Matt for running the deck today. See you again this summer.
