That's a wrap! 🎉

Training at ECP is officially complete, and it's time to head back to New Hampshire.

A huge congratulations to Jason, Karissa, and Debra on earning their Master Detailer Certifications! This achievement represents countless hours of training, dedication, and a commitment to continually improving their craft.

Every trip to ECP brings back new knowledge, new techniques, and new ideas that help raise the standard at RAG's Detailing. This week was no exception.

A sincere thank you to everyone at ECP and Technician's Choice for another incredible week of training, support, and hospitality.

Next stop: New Hampshire. Time to put everything learned into practice!

One question I get all the time is...

"Why do you keep going back to training?"

The answer is simple.

It's not because we don't know how to detail.

We already have the products, equipment, systems, and experience to perform professional detailing every day. We come because this industry never stops evolving. New products, new materials, and new techniques are constantly changing how we care for modern vehicles. If you stop learning, you eventually fall behind.

Every trip to Technician's Choice gives us something new to bring back to New Hampshire. Whether it's a specialized process, a new product, support for a challenge we're working through, or simply the opportunity to network with some of the best vehicle care professionals in the country, there's always value in continuing to learn.

A great example is Power-X. We helped test the product in real-world conditions before it was ever released, making us the first to bring it back to New Hampshire. The before-and-after photos on Technician's Choice's official sell sheet—and even their ink removal TikTok video—feature work completed right here at RAG's Detailing.

This trip has been special for another reason too. This year, my fiancée, Debbie Hill, was able to join us for the first time.

She has supported RAG's from the very beginning. She remembers when detailing meant a brush, vacuum, and a small collection of products. She's watched us invest in better tools, better systems, and better products over the years.
But hearing me talk about the training is one thing—being here and learning the "why" behind everything we do is something completely different.

Another milestone we're incredibly proud of is becoming an accredited ECP Training Center. That means we can now provide official training and certifications for our own employees right here in New Hampshire, developing them from their first day and getting them ready to go to Illinois for their master certificate.

Watching the crew I've built confidently step up, help other attendees, answer questions, and work toward earning their own Master Detailer Certifications. Seeing them grow into professionals who are now giving back to others is something I can't really put into words.

Learning never stops—and neither do we.

Day 1 at ECP is in the books!

Today was packed with hands-on training covering a wide range of advanced techniques, including wet sanding, carpet dyeing, paint correction, and much more.

One thing I always tell people is that you should never stop learning.

I've been professionally detailing for over a decade. I've completed these trainings before. I'm already a Master Detailer. Yet every single time I come back to ECP, I leave having learned something new.

This class is really for our employees as they work toward earning their Master Detailer Certifications, but I'm here right alongside them because I want to get everything I possibly can out of the experience too.

For me, it's no longer just about becoming a better detailer. It's about becoming a better trainer, a better manager, and a better leader for our team and our community. The better I become, the better I can help our team grow—and the better service we can provide every customer who trusts RAG's with their vehicle.

Learning never stops, and neither do we.

Day 2 we will be taking over the class and teaching our trainers what we have learned. Excited to show off what the RAG's crew brings to the table.

Day 1 is in full swing!

This morning we're already getting into some advanced restoration techniques, including the complete process of cleaning and dyeing automotive carpet.

The video below shows the carpet dyeing process in action. It's impressive to see how proper training, the right products, and proven techniques can restore a carpet that many people would assume needs to be replaced.

This is exactly why we made the trip from New Hampshire. Every new skill we learn and every hour of hands-on training helps us raise the standard at RAG's Detailing and deliver even better results for our customers.

Back to training—we've got a lot more to learn today as we continue working toward our Master Detailer Certifications!

We're officially at the ECP Training Center!

This morning kicked off with the classroom overview, and now it's time to get our hands dirty. The crew is breaking into groups and beginning advanced hands-on training as we work toward earning our Master Detailer Certifications.

We're also honored to be the first class ever to train in ECP's brand-new training facility. It's exciting to be part of that milestone while continuing to invest in the future of our team.

At RAG's, we believe the day you stop learning is the day you stop improving. Every certification, every technique, and every hour spent training helps us deliver an even higher standard of detailing back home in New Hampshire.

We made it to Bolingbrook, Illinois!

After a 16-hour drive from New Hampshire—and navigating some pretty intense storms toward the end of the trip, including heavy winds, green skies, and even tornado warnings —we're officially checked into our hotel and ready to get to work.

Tomorrow our team begins advanced training at Technician's Choice as we work toward earning our Master Detailer Certifications.

At RAG's, we're committed to continually investing in our team because better training means better results for every customer who trusts us with their vehicle. We never want to be satisfied with "good enough," and this is another step toward raising the standard of what we offer.
