Arrived about 2 Elizabeth city , free dock but was a lot to loop a rope around the pilings, wind blew till Thursday , left and went to belhaven another 11 hour run, walked 2 miles to buy a hook because I dropped the one we had in the lock, dollar general another half mile, watch my you tube

Made it too Portsmouth Virginia by 7 pm just about made it before it got dark, stayed in a free dock got up with the sun to make tha 8:30 lock for the dismal swamp staying at the visitors center for the night on the swamp.There was a food lion grocery store right after you come out of the lock , tied up and went and got a few things. It’s raining and damp, we have a little propane heater when we’re not running the generator, staying warm at night under the covers

Solomons Maryland 11 hours from Chesapeake city anchored out Thursday night Friday morning up getting fuel and then into Calvert marina in Solomons till Sunday morning wind is 22 miles some heavy gusts. Hopefully it will die down and we can leave tomorrow.

Today is  Tuesday the seventh it’s gonna go up to about 42°. the wind is blowing real hard so we’re stuck on the dock maybe even tomorrow but can’t fight the weather we’re in Chesapeake city.

Left home for the Bahamas passed Barnegat lighthouse that’s Atlantic City and tonight we are in Cape May will be heading up to Delaware to the C&D canal tomorrow

Shannon made me a nice sign ,still getting ready but getting it done will post when all done and do a walkthrough on the boat
