YFZ 450R has 6mm bolts that hold the rear skid plate. They will eventually break. When upgrading your skid plate we recommend the use of 8mm bolts. Here we show the removal of the broken 6mm, upgrade to 8mm & new SS skid plate. Do it before they break.

Sorry for being off social media, we’ve been busy constructing our new shop – it hasn’t been easy to relocate our business and family to a new home & town. But now that we are settled in more or less we can get back to what we do best. We are excited to announce new programs and ways Performance ATV can help service your ATV needs. Our first new program benefits our XC racing customers. This service offers storage, race prep & delivery of your XC race quad to the FTR XC series for a monthly fee. Limited space available, please DM us for details. We now have established a shipping program for those that would like to ship us your engine or engine parts for a rebuild or engine modifications. Lastly is our dyno program, details to follow. Please DM us with any questions & bear with us we will get back to you as soon as we can. We will no longer have a storefront, all new work will be by appointments only. Thank you for your patience with this transition & hope you keep looking to us for your ATV needs.
Shop update.. We have light!!! I’ve been working day & night in the new building getting it ready so I can get back to what I do best. It’s been a larger project than I thought. Now with light I can start organizing. Still need power on the walls for my machines. Next is insulation and AC. Please bare with just a little longer. Thanks

Some of you already know but this post makes it official. We are moving to Central Florida. If you noticed we haven’t been posting much lately. It’s because have been busy completing all our current projects before we move & building our new shop. We will not be accepting anymore new work for the next two or three months or till we are completely moved and settled in. Everything will be by appointment or shipped in to us from then on. I like to thank all our customers & friends for the amazing support we had over 26 years in Miami. We hope that after the move you will still seek us out for all your high performance ATV & dirt bike needs. We will update as we go.

Here Shee is ready to go home. Customer didn’t want anything too flashy. Just to make here look new again with a little bling. Frame received fresh powder coat, new bearings at all points, new pivot bolt, & new swingarm. Engine new 4mm stroker crankshaft, fresh pistons, port work to match, bead-blasted cases, fresh paint & billet side covers.
So here Shee is before. This Shee came for some new life. Original owner since new. He wanted to powder coat the frame but not over the top & to rebuild the engine. The original bars were still on the bike. #🇺🇸
Honda TRX 250R needed a new ignition system. Customer came with a China junk stator that went in the garbage. Obviously none available so it gets a HPI ignition with a counter weight. Very nice system similar to old school Motoplat or PVL. #🇺🇸

New YFZR lower frame section, beautiful piece. We decided to gusset some of it to make it a even stronger unit. Then sent off to powder coat for some protection from the elements. #🇺🇸

You all have been asking so here’s a video on how these @urmosithrottles throttles work. They are very well designed & built. Super adjustable you can clock the thumb with the set screws. Also can go up & down on the shaft. Very tight fit on the shaft so it won’t wear out prematurely. Then to top it off you 3 clicking on the fly adjustment. Never was a fan of the billet thumb throttles that were available in the past.
