🔥 LIVE HEAT SHRINKING AT THE INTERNATIONAL WINDOW FILM CONFERENCE & TINT-OFF! 🔥

Here’s a look at me putting ClearPlex windshield protection film by Madico through a live heat-shrink demonstration right on the show floor!

Getting the opportunity to demonstrate the techniques I use every day in front of a crowd of industry professionals and window film enthusiasts was an awesome experience. It’s one thing to do this in the shop, but doing it live, with people watching every move, definitely adds a little pressure! 😂

I’m proud to represent Bo & Mike’s Detail Shop & Window Tinting and showcase the skills I’ve developed as a Lead Installer.

DAY ONE OF THE INTERNATIONAL WINDOW FILM CONFERENCE & TINT-OFF™ IS IN THE BOOKS! 🔥

What a day! Grant, Lead Installer at Bo & Mike’s Detail Shop & Window Tinting, had the opportunity to attend the first day of the International Window Film Conference & Tint-Off, and it has already exceeded expectations.

This morning started with several business seminars focused on learning how to more effectively run our shop, improve our operations, and ultimately better serve our customers. There’s always room to learn and improve, and I’m excited to bring that knowledge back home to Bo & Mike’s.

The rest of the day was spent exploring the show floor, checking out cutting-edge technology, new products, tools, and innovations, while meeting and talking with manufacturers from across the industry.

I also had the opportunity to perform live heat-shrink demonstrations in front of patrons at the ClearPlex booth! Being able to demonstrate techniques I use every day in front of other professionals and industry attendees was an awesome experience. Stay tuned for videos of those demonstrations! 👀🔥

One of the coolest parts of today was being recognized by people and manufacturers I’ve never even met before simply because they’ve seen my work and followed along through social media. It’s pretty incredible to see how far the work we do at Bo & Mike’s Detail Shop & Window Tinting reaches.

And the amount of merch, samples, and gifts I’ve received today is borderline INSANE… 😂

AND THIS IS ONLY DAY ONE.

I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to be here, represent Bo & Mike’s, learn from some of the best in the industry, make new connections, and bring that knowledge back home to our customers.

🚗🔥 BO & MIKE’S AT THE INTERNATIONAL WINDOW FILM CONFERENCE & TINT-OFF! 🔥🚗

We’re proud to share that our Lead Installer, Grant Lane, had the opportunity to attend the 2026 International Window Film Conference & Tint-Off (WFCT) in San Antonio, TX! 🇺🇸

The WFCT is one of the most prestigious events in the window film industry, bringing together some of the best installers, manufacturers, and professionals from around the country and the world.

For Grant, this was an incredible opportunity to learn from industry leaders, see the latest advancements in window film technology, connect with other professionals, and continue sharpening the skills that we bring back to our customers here at Bo & Mike’s Detail Shop & Window Tinting.

We’re always looking for ways to improve, stay ahead of the curve, and provide our customers with the highest quality installation possible. Being able to attend events like this is a huge part of that commitment. 💯

Today, August 6, marks what would have been Bo’s birthday.

In honor of Bo and the legacy he left behind, Bo & Mike’s Detail Shop & Window Tinting will be closed on Friday, August 7, in observance of his birthday.

Although Bo passed away in August 2021, the values he built this business on—hard work, honesty, and treating every customer like family—continue to guide us every day. We are incredibly thankful for the love and support our community has shown our family and our shop over the years.

Thank you for your understanding as we take this time to remember and celebrate Bo’s life. We look forward to serving you when we reopen on Monday.

Some jobs don’t fit neatly inside four walls—and that’s okay.

This awesome Chinook camper, built on the legendary Ford E-Series chassis, came in today for window tint. At first glance, it was obvious it wasn’t going to fit inside our tint bay.

My response?

“Don’t worry… I’ve done bigger.”

We adapted, got to work outside, and gave this camper the same level of precision and attention to detail that every vehicle receives.

At Bo & Mike’s Detail Shop & Window Tinting, we believe it’s about finding solutions, not excuses. Whether it’s a daily driver, a lifted truck, a van, an RV, or a unique camper like this, our goal is simple: deliver quality work and take care of our customers.

Some jobs are about installing window film. Others are about becoming a small part of a story.

This absolutely stunning Porsche 930 Turbo widebody isn’t just another classic—it represents countless hours of passion, dedication, and craftsmanship. Built by a father and son in their own garage, every panel, every detail, and every finish reflects years of hard work and a shared love for automobiles. Cars like this can’t be bought off a showroom floor—they’re earned through patience, skill, and heart.

I’m incredibly grateful to have been trusted with this build and honored to be one of the few people who gets to put their hands on something so special.

For this Porsche, we installed LLumar AIR 80 Ceramic on the windshield. AIR 80 is one of my favorite films because it delivers serious performance while remaining virtually invisible. It rejects a significant amount of infrared heat, blocks over 99% of harmful UV rays, helps protect the interior from sun damage, and keeps the cabin more comfortable—all without dramatically changing the appearance of the glass or sacrificing visibility. It’s the perfect choice for vehicles where preserving the factory look is just as important as improving comfort and protection.
