Another flooring transformation complete

We started by removing the existing carpet in the bedroom (before photos not pictured) and installing beautiful LVP flooring to give the room a fresh, updated look.

Before installation, we removed the subfloor staples and planed the subfloor seams in the bedroom to help ensure the new flooring would lay flush. We also removed the existing planks in the entryway to create a clean, seamless transition between the new bedroom flooring and the existing hallway floor.

It's all in the details! Careful preparation and precise installation make all the difference.

Another Fence Repair Completed

This fence was in need of some structural repairs, so we got it back to solid and secure!

We started by removing the existing fence panels and digging out the 5 old concrete footers. We then used a hydraulic auger to dig the new post holes and installed 12" concrete forms with J-bolts for the new footers.

From there, we installed 5 new Simpson brackets to securely anchor the 4x4 posts and reattached the entire fence to the new posts.

Another project completed by Henecke Home & Auto Services!

A recent storm took down 80 feet of this customer’s side fence, so we rebuilt the entire section from the ground up.

We started by tearing out the old damaged fence and getting everything cleared out. Since the ground was pretty sandy, we dug the new post holes 3 feet deep and used 8-inch concrete footer tubes to help contain and secure the concrete and give the new fence posts a solid foundation.

We also took the time to lay a string line so all of the new post holes would stay straight and perfectly in line with each other. Once the concrete was set, we secured the 4x4 bracket posts to the concrete footers with J-bolts and then built and installed the new fence sections.

A lot of work went into this one, but seeing that new 80-foot section all lined up and standing strong made it worth it!

Guess what day it is… 👀 It’s PERGOLA ASSEMBLY DAY!

Today we took this pile of parts and hardware and turned it into a beautiful 10' × 14' covered outdoor living space! This was a team effort from laying out and organizing all the pieces to assembling the frame, securing it to the house, installing the roof panels, getting everything squared and secured, and adding the finishing touches.

Another Saturday, another pergola built together

This pergola started as a pile of pieces and a set of instructions that consisted of pictures, numbers, and absolutely NO words! But we knew exactly where to start and worked through it from the ground up.

From layout and assembly to securing the structure and installing the roof, we handled it from start to finish.

We take pride in the work we do, and there’s nothing better than stepping back at the end of the day and seeing the finished product.

Do you have something that needs to be put together, but the directions are nothing but pictures and you have no idea where to start?

That's where we come in! Whether it's a pergola, furniture, a backyard project, or something else that has you staring at it wondering “What in the world am I looking at?” or "Where do we start?" give us a call. We'll figure it out and get it assembled properly.

Another returning customer asked us to repair her wooden fence gates, and we were happy to help!

This project included a double gate on one side and a single gate on the other. The double gate was a little tricky because it was on a slope, so getting everything aligned and working properly took some patience and careful adjustments.

We repaired and reinforced the gate frames, replaced the damaged sections, and made sure the gates were properly supported and secured with screws instead of nails. The finished result is a much more functional entrance that looks right at home with the existing fence.

With the bad storm that came through tonight, we're already getting messages from homeowners dealing with wooden fence damage. If your fence or gates took a hit, don't assume you need to replace the whole thing. Some damage can be repaired, and we're happy to take a look and see what can be done.
