Based on recent, rapidly changing developments in New Hampshire, here is the current status of state vehicle inspections:

-Inspections are Continuing: A federal judge has issued a preliminary injunction that stops the state from ending the inspection program. As a result, the mandate to have your vehicle inspected remains in place for now.

-Ignore Earlier Stop Dates: Despite previous plans for the program to end on Jan. 31, 2026, the court ruling ensures inspections will continue while a lawsuit regarding federal law compliance proceeds.

-Walk-Ins Welcomed: As always we are operating on a walk-in basis to get vehicles caught up. No need to call!

-Official Directive Needed: we are awaiting final, official guidance following the court intervention.

-Penalty Risk: Driving with an expired inspection sticker may still result in a ticket.
You should proceed with getting your vehicle inspected as required by your registration month until further notice.

Vehicle inspections in New Hampshire will continue for now after a federal judge issued a preliminary injunction preventing a law that would halt inspections from taking effect.

Thinking about buying a car or already own one? Staying safe on the road means paying close attention to your tires. As summer brings more road trips and unpredictable weather, now is the perfect time to check the age and condition of your tires. Most should be inspected around the six-year mark and definitely replaced by ten years, even if they look fine. Check your tread with a simple penny test. If you see the top of Lincoln’s head, your treads are too shallow and it’s time for new tires. Also, keep an eye out for cracks in the rubber. While small surface cracks aren’t a big deal, deeper cracks mean it’s time to change them. Regular driving helps keep tires in good shape, and overinflation can cause cracks, so keep your tires properly inflated. Don’t risk driving on worn or cracked tires. For peace of mind on every drive, visit our website or call today!

Did you know your tires play a huge role in how smoothly and safely your vehicle handles? Proper tire pressure is key, as both underinflation and overinflation can cause uneven wear and shorten their lifespan. Balancing and rotating your wheels regularly helps ensure each tire wears evenly, giving you more miles on the road. Don’t forget about your suspension, either. Misalignment can lead to premature tread wear, so keep an eye out if your vehicle starts pulling to one side. Lastly, your driving habits matter, too. Aggressive driving and ignoring road hazards can wear out your tread quickly. Take care of your tires and they’ll take care of you. For tips or service, visit our website or give us a call today!

Keeping your car running smoothly starts with regular maintenance, and your tires play a vital role in your vehicle's safety. Look out for visible tread wear by doing the penny test: if you can see all of Lincoln's head, it's time for new tires. Unusual noises or vibrations while driving can mean uneven wear or alignment problems, so it's smart to get a professional opinion. If you notice you are losing air pressure frequently, your tires may be damaged or punctured, and driving on them can be risky and costly. Paying attention to these signs can help you avoid trouble on the road and keep your car performing its best. For expert advice and to make sure your car is safe, visit our website or give us a call today.

Did you know that new tires do more than just get you from point A to point B? Modern tires feature advanced tread designs that improve grip and road handling, especially in rain or snow, greatly reducing the risk of hydroplaning. High-quality materials and innovative technologies, like run-flat options, keep you safer on the road by staying functional even after a puncture. Plus, these tires help with fuel efficiency, which means better handling and fewer chances of accidents caused by tire failure. Tire pressure monitoring systems in newer models alert you to any pressure changes, so you can act fast and avoid potential hazards. Investing in the latest tire features is an easy step toward a safer, smoother driving experience for you and everyone sharing the road. Ready to upgrade your ride’s safety?
