Damaging UV rays will eat away at your carbon fiber’s resin coat and cause damage like this if you don’t protect it! The best thing to do is apply PPF or a ceramic coating to make sure your CF stays looking perfect! Fixing this can be costly!

During a color change wrap, vehicles with a light color paint jobs turning into a darker colored wraps have to be taken apart extensively so the original color is not seen through body panel gaps. The bumpers, lights, trims, side panels, etc. are all removed to create a seamless install. Additionally, wrapping the door jambs is another way to go the extra mile to complete the look.

This is why choosing the shop to install your wrap is so important. Shops with proper tooling and knowledge of vehicle dismantling are of the upmost importance so that trims, clips, hardware, etc. are not damaged during the process. It all has to go back together properly! One loose bolt that rattles every time you hit a bump in the road will drive you crazy!
