Bethany's Violin Studio

Bethany's Violin Studio This is the Facebook home of my violin studio. I teach violin to students of all ages, using Suzuki-based methods. I have been playing violin since 1997.

I started with Suzuki and went through all 10 books, going on to begin learning Bach's Sonatas and Partitas and various concerti, including those by Bruch and Mendelssohn. I can also play the viola. My teachers have been Laura Brown, Amy Gowens, Chelsea Eyre, and Ruth Brown through Suzuki, and I have taken Teacher Training courses through Cathy Lee and Allen Lieb. In high school, I participated in

the Young Artist Chamber Players, directed by Jack Ashton, and was the principal second for two years. I have been teaching professionally since August of 2011, and have been trained to teach Suzuki books 1-3, although I have been cleared to take training through Book 10 since 2011. Lessons typically range in length from 15 minutes to an hour. For more information, send me a message or give me a call.
