After reviewing the cause of fire from this past weekend, we are implementing a couple adjustments.

Driver, if you are running a stock fuel tank, please make sure there is a metal skid plate under your fuel tank. It has been in the rules for many years, make sure it is there.

Also, if you run a stock tank, please add this heat shield wrap or something similar to the shield. $20 is nothing compared to losing a car. It will help protect your fuel tank from heat. https://a.co/d/0hjqyAsY

Finally, be sure to have an exhaust turn down to direct the heat and flames downward.

These few adjustments will give some steps to help the stock fuel tank guys. If you can afford a fuel cell, that is the best option. Get with Tim on part numbers and options if needed
