Here is an estimate of 48 hour rainfall totals as of this morning. The mountains of northwest Montana did quite well for liquid precipitation, with some mountain observing sites in the Swan, Mission, and Whitefish ranges picking up about three inches! Expect continued rain today across the Northern Rockies. Showers will linger on Monday morning for northwest Montana.

At approximately 8:30 this morning while on scene of a traffic accident on the MT Highway 35 bridge east of Kalispell one of our firefighters was struck by a motor vehicle that entered our scene. Our firefighter was transported to the hospital and has since been released with minor injuries. We would like to remind everyone to please slow down and be extra alert for responders working any scene.
